Purchase for a customer mobile operations
We needed a laptop to run a client that was using a interface with needed to stream live video for multiple cameras. A gaming machine is needed to prevent lag. Everything worked perfectly and no issue (apart from the b****** windows update). Very good quality.

Beware, DDR4 ram not 5!
Not as advertised. Not Drr5 ram, but ddr4. Big difference. I passed up other laptops of a similar build but cheaper as they only had ddr4 ram (thinking the more expensive price for this item was because of the upgraded ram). That coupled with the other budget features of this laptop (45w gpu throttle, cheap plastic build quality) means I'm returning this. Customer service doesn't care the listing is incorrect. Other people have reported this on the i7 model but they still falsely claim it's ddr5. I recommend avoiding

Not necessarily bad not necessarily good
The processor is pretty trash and slow and ussually gets fully used up when generating graphics and theres v little memory but apart from those two issues its a decent laptop. Not very portable and also the battery is pretty trash but still decent.

Definitely check some reviews online if you don't trust my opinion: MSI Laptops apparently have a huge issue with performance, it takes me 20 seconds to open a browser or a game in this one. "Oh but that must be because you have 20 tabs", not at all, classic 1 tab opening. Also I cannot install MSI Center which is supposedly essential. It just crashes and goes down. Overall my excitement for getting it has become a "Worst laptop decision ever". My recommendation is go for an ASUS TUF or something of the sorts and save yourself from the hassle of searching on the Internet for 2 days on how to make it work as supposed to if it's even possible at all.
