First Use:
When first using a new stone mill, it must be cleaned.
It is common to use rice that has been soaked in water for more than 6 hours. Add water and rice with a spoon and start grinding. Remember to rotate counterclockwise. Do not eat the rice paste from the first time you grind the rice (the Chinese call it "Kai grind"). It will be ready for normal use later.
