Really, really enjoyed this book. I was looking for something that summed up the Middle East perfectly as I know lots about it but will probably never be in a position to visit. This publication is pretty mesmerising to be honest. I’ve always been fascinated by this area of the Middle East and was drawn to the photography on the book cover at first. Not only is the photography by the Author himself but it is colourful, original and atmospheric and catches the essence of the region perfectly in my opinion. The narrative I found was a truly personal account of the Author’s trip through this beautiful and unique country. So well written that I honestly thought that I was on the same trip with him. 5 stars.
