I bought the fluorescent green brand of hose reel back in May 2017. After a few months it wouldn’t reel back up easily or correctly. I fought with that thing for 8 years. I’d finally had enough and attempted to open the case to adjust the tension and it broke! I bought this model 5/2025 and it is awesome! It ALWAYS rolls back up correctly! No fighting, no little adjustments each time like my old one. It just works each and every time. Having the additional 50 feet is also great. I can’t recommend this hose reel enough!! Just buy it. This is an honest review from a typical “Weekend warrior”American guy with the single family home, white picket fence and 1.6 kids :-). I can’t provide an opinion on if it’ll hold up to everyday commercial use. I wasn’t compensated in any way for this review.

Good product, easy to install. Poor hose crimp design, slips right out when the system is pressurized. just replace it with an old fashioned hose clamp and you'll be good.
