Men's Hi-Vis Reflective Heavy Duty Workwear Braces / Suspenders

I was fed-up of getting mocked by my kids for having a builders b*m so I invested in a pair of these to add to my existing workmens' trousers. They are generally really great and comfy EXCEPT the clips which set the length of the braces keep slipping. I could solve this by adding some fabric underneath (to pad then out) but they're very flimsy. I'm going to ask my mum to run some stitching across them as a permanent fix.Shame really as they're not cheap!

This is the first item I have given a poor review for.The braces are supposed to hold work trousers up. The adjuster does not catch the elastic sufficiently enough to hold in position.The teeth do not dig into the brace elastic enough. Throughout the entire day they slip off the elastic and slide down. I have other work wear braces from other companies that have worked first time.

So far so good with these braces, at last I have found something which seems more than strong enough to hold up my chainsaw trousers. The original sewn on ones were not really man enough for the job and soon lost their strength. Chainsaw resistance trousers are very heavy due to the layer of Kevlar fibre wadding around the legs and ordinary clip on braces do not last five minutes. These are nice and wide at 50mm and do not sag at all under the weight of my trousers. The only minus point is the thickness of the clips which could be uncomfortable if wearing any kind backpack or backpack mounted equipment. In use the clips are strong and hold on very well though they have left small marks in the fabric, but as they are designed for use with workwear rather than smart trousers, this should not be a problem. Working with my chainsaw the comfort has been fine and better than using a belt for the trousers which can be restrictive when bending or climbing over obstacles as anti cut protective clothing is stiff does not have much give.

Item dispatched and arrived on time, item looks good however the adjusting clips simply don't work thy do not remain in the locked position and by the end of the day had slipped down to its furthermost point and therefore did not function at all as braces to keep my trousers up

Finally my PPE trousers stay up after years of keep hoisting them up whilst working, walking, climbing up steps. Braces should definitely make a comeback as they make things so much more comfortable.

Perfect fit and it’s heavy duty as stated love it and above all they work no more pulling up my trousers. I would by again. I forgot to mention that they also blend in with my work clothes perfectly.

There a brilliant idea and as someone who works at roadside there a mist have for your waterproofs.But and here's the big but..... The clasp that holds the braces to desired length just doesn't hold the braces.So what actually happens is you set the length and lock the clasp 10 mins later the braces material has slipped through the clasp and now your trs are round your ankles.Great idea just don't work

I got this as a present for a work mate and he is very happy with them. He has told me the fit is excellent and as expected.
