This is the first flying hover ball toy I've ever used. I received a blue colored ball.I have mixed opinions on it, but generally wish I had ordered a different hover ball.Either my hover ball is broken, or this thing is really hard to use. The instructions are poorly translated and it is unclear how to get this ball to do any of the tricks listed in the photo description (hover, boomerang, etc). It never comes back to me once released!It turns on and lights up, but it's basically uncontrollable. It could be that I'm not correctly steering the ball at the right angle, but the instructions are unclear so who knows!?It includes a remote and usb a charging cord. The remote is required to turn it off so don't lose it. It's an infrared remote and needs line of sight to control the ball.Even if I was able to operate this hover ball correctly, I still think I'd be disappointed by the battery life. It can run for only about 5 minutes before it becomes too weak to float and you have to recharge it. Recharging takes 25 to 40 minutes. Many children won't have patience for this kind of usage cycle.It is relatively inexpensive ($13). It might be worth buying if you're already familiar with these type of hover ball toys, but personally (as this was my first experience with this type of toy) I would consider other options instead.

I bought this for my nephew's birthday and he hasn't put it down since. The LED lights are a nice touch and make it even more fun to play with.

It works right out of the box, but the instructions are very limited. Just basic features of the ball. So, I decided to just try it out. Well, this thing goes everywhere. You spend more time chasing it down than anything. It is bright and flashy with plenty of energy to go. I toss it up and it comes down with a force. Throw it away from you and it goes off to the side somewhere. Maybe with time invested in working with this toy, it can become something wonderful to enjoy. I give credit for such a marvelous idea and such an eyecatching item.
