Clipper medium roast decaf organic Arabica coffee is a toasty and intense blend with a clean finish and a rich aroma. It is organically decaffeinated using the CO2 and spring water method. Use only the highest-quality sources, add nothing artificial and strive to improve the welfare of workers. Review: I stopped drinking caffeine about 2 years. Over that time I have been using a ground Lavazza decaf with a French press or a Nespresso machine. The Nespresso broke down last week and I didn't think it was worth replacing if I was only drinking decaf. I thought I would give this product a go even though I haven't drunk an instant cup in years. The reason why I picked Clipper is because I use their decaf tea which is the best by far. This coffee is rich and very filling. Instructions are 2 teaspoons per 250ml water at 90 degrees celsius (i.e. boil kettle and leave for 1 minute). Using 2 teaspoons I even found the coffee tasted too strong so 1 and half teaspoons suits me better. I like this decaf coffee alot. Clipper make great products. Using water to remove the caffeine makes for a nicer tasting coffee. Fair trade and organic too.

I love the taste of proper coffee but a stomach issue means I can no longer drink it, and in fact I have changed to decaf as it is less acidic. With all the issues of the chemical processes to produce decaf coffee, I wanted a brand that was produced using a more natural method. This Clipper coffee fits the bill and the taste is great. No it's not the same as ground coffee, but it's not bad. The best price for this coffee is at Waitrose, but as we don't have a branch very close to us, Amazon was the next best option.

I have tried many many different kinds of decaf including the decafs supermarket-own-brand decafs, Nescafe, Kenco, Percol and various other brands of decaff. I have also tried decaffeinated beans/ground coffee rather than just instant decaf. All these decaffeinated coffees tasted like something was missing from the flavour - i had accepted that decaf could not be as good as the real thing. However i then tried this clipper decaf - and can honestly say it tastes better or as good as many caffeinated coffees. I was also keen to avoid decafs which were decaffeinated using various chemicals - some of which apparently remain on the decaf and may or may not be bad for your health. Clipper uses a process which avoids nasty chemicals, read about it here [...] In summary, tastes good, maybe less likely to kill you.
