Men's SSK033 5 Sports Watch

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Experience – 100% Authentic Seiko SSK033 I recently purchased the Seiko 5 Sports SSK033 GMT from The Watch Locker, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. First, the watch arrived brand new and exactly as described. It was carefully packaged, and all protective plastics were still applied to the case and bracelet, which gave me immediate confidence that it had never been worn or handled improperly. The bracelet and clasp were fully wrapped in factory protection. The watch itself is absolutely stunning in person. The silver/white dial paired with the blue and black bezel gives it a unique “Batman” style look, but with a brighter and more refined appearance, which can be called the “White Batman”. The finishing on the case and bracelet is excellent, and it has a solid, quality weight that feels premium on the wrist. Most importantly, the watch is completely authentic. The 4R34 movement functions exactly as it should: • The GMT hand adjusts independently in the first crown position. • The date changes properly. • The seconds hack when pulled to the second position. • Manual winding works smoothly and feels precise. • The rotor and caseback engravings are correct and clean. The seller provided a one-year warranty, which is fair for a third-party seller, and the price I paid was competitive for a brand-new model. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. The Watch Locker delivered a genuine product in brand-new condition, at a fair price, and with professional packaging. I would absolutely buy from them again. Highly recommended.

Seiko dropped the SSK line to much fanfare a few years ago. Finally, a truly affordable GMT, and in the classic SKX style case to boot! However, I simply wasn't too crazy about this line's aesthetics initially. They just looked sort of awkward to me because they were too derivative of the Rolex GMT Master colorways all while keeping the same SKX proportions/thickness (and without even being an actual tool watch). This led to the popular blueberry/Batman one just looking sort of goofy to me despite being a great watch. This one is something really special though and I don't think it gets talked about enough. The "Polar Batman/Mr. Freeze" look is just so versatile and works perfectly with just about any outfit, season, and aesthetic short of full on black tie. The shades of electric blue that were chosen are outstanding, and the white dial... I don't think anyone makes a white dial quite as well as Seiko does. This is a subtle silvery sunburst color that's typically found on their more dressy watches and it just works so well, I can't believe it took them this long to put a white dial in an SKX case because it really elevates it in my opinion. The only 2 downsides are the overall thickness and the bracelet, both of which are easily remedied with Aliexpress parts like a slim caseback (note that as of 2024's option, this also requires swapping the movement bracket/spacer) and a better jubilee if you so wish. Personally, I like the bracelet and I think the narrower links work better than a more traditionally proportioned one as it makes the case look a bit smaller. Though I can certainly see why some would be disappointed with it if they paid the full retail of nearly $500 as it's a little jangly and uses the usual stamped clasp from their much cheaper models.

Great watch. Looks awesome and the three time zone keeper is super useful as someone who travels often. The watch arrived in great condition protective film and all. My only two dislikes are the bezel and the accuracy. The bezel is a smooth bidirectional turn which was nice at first, however it often moves when I wear a large coat or long sleeve shirt that is heavy material and makes contact with the watch when my hand is in pocket, A small in-convince. The accuracy is ok it is usually 20+ seconds fast every morning (I leave it face up not in use. Face down is slightly improved usually +10-20sec fast). The watch is not a COSC verified watch so this is to be expected from this price point. Otherwise this has been a great watch!

So what can you say you can't buy class they say.. My watch came on the date. No problems with the overall experience with the order. Very well packaged I received all the warranty and receipt. Best quality watch and value for the money. Thanks and happy holidays.

The Seiko 5 gmt is a great automatic watch with 3 time zones and a very high quality dial. The “jubilee” style bracelet is very good looking and has a lot of adjustment. You’d be hard pressed to find such a good looking watch with an automatic movement at this price point. The bezel doesn’t “click” when turning, it floats and has been moved while wearing, but this isn’t a big deal for me, it’s easily turned back. I haven’t had it metered but it seems to be running about 5-6 seconds per day fast. Again, not a big deal, for the money I think it’s a fantastic value and choice.

This is an extremely good looking watch, that’s obvious. Movement is decent. Less than 10 seconds per day. Bracelet is excellent. Only complaint you can’t see the time, legibility very low, does it outweigh the beauty… your call.
