This was exactly what I required. Tried it out and it works perfect;y, this will be used for our family Christmas tree we imported from the US. The unit is compact and silent during use.

I use it with a 550W KitchenAid mixer and Brother sewing machine from the US (not at the same time). Both appliances work perfectly fine.

This transformer is very quite and and perfect for US devices. I would recommended to anyone wanting to go from 220 to 110.

First time I plugged it in and turned it on it made a popping noise and blew out the circuit breaker. After I reset the circuit breaker, I tried to reset the unit, but it was dead. No lights, no power, nothing. Good thing I hadn't plugged anything into it yet.

I bought two of these for use of American appliances in the UK. Both do the job they were purchased for, and are still working two years later.

Don't do what I did and ignore the other two one star reviews, they were right, this doesn't work. Trips the house mains fuse every time.

This is the second LiteFuze step down transformer I've purchased since a competitor product had the polarities reversed on the 110V outlets. I tested all outlets on this transformer and they were 110V and 220V as designed and the polarities were correct. I have only tested this in 110V North America system but will be testing it soon on 220V system when I move overseas. Not expecting any issues. Product looks well built, does not make any noise when attached to a load, and does not seem to generate any heat. Even managed to test a 1500W kettle on this 1500W transformer without tripping its fuse (typically you should have a transformer rated 1.5 times higher than your expected load) although I don't plan on running that much power through it longer term. Good product!

Purchased after buying 2 No’s and was OK. But the 3rd one is not good.

Works great so far. Good build quality.
