How many 12 x 12 inch paper pads would this roughly hold?

I only purchased one12x12 Really Useful box. The inside depth is approx 6cm. As to how many 12x12 pads it will hold depends on the thickness of the pads. I store mine on its side and for ease of handling found it better not to store anything too heavy in it. I own several Really Useful products but in this instance I prefer the ArtBin 12x12 box because it has a hinged top lid, two clip flaps and a handle for easy carrying and the inside measurement is 6.6cm. I store both products on their side.

Will this box hold a3 paper

This particular box wouldn’t fit A3 paper inside - the A3 width may have just fitted, but definitely not the longer length of A3 at all. The Really Useful Box range has all different shapes/sizes so there might be something else in their range that would suit. Hope this helps.

Is that really the price, just for a single box - over £45?

This doesn’t sound right at all. The box is definitely available tor less than this.
