This Rotary Tool Kit Has Every Bit I Never Knew I Needed
As a weekend DIYer who's constantly starting new projects, I picked up this massive accessory kit last week to expand what I could do with my rotary tool - and wow, what a difference having the right bits makes! The sheer variety in this kit is mind-boggling - I've gone from having just a handful of basic bits to suddenly having specialized tools for every possible job. Already used the diamond cutting wheel to slice through some ceramic tile for a bathroom project that would have been impossible with my previous setup. The sanding bands in various grits have been perfect for smoothing out a wooden jewelry box I'm making for my daughter. What impressed me most is the organization - everything comes in a sturdy case with dedicated compartments so you can actually find what you need instead of digging through a jumbled mess. The quality of the bits seems pretty good for the price point - I've been using the grinding stones pretty aggressively on some metal work and they're holding up well so far. The four different collets included mean everything fits securely in my tool regardless of bit size - no more wobbling or bits flying out mid-project! The polishing wheels and compound made quick work of shining up some old brass hardware that I thought was beyond saving. There are a few minor issues worth mentioning - some of the smallest drill bits seem a bit fragile (already broke one when I applied too much pressure), and the case, while well-organized, is a bit bulky for storing in a small workspace. Also, with so many similar-looking bits, better labeling on the compartments would've been helpful. I've found myself taking pictures of the original layout so I remember where everything goes. If your someone who uses a rotary tool even occasionally, having this comprehensive set means you'll always have exactly the right bit for whatever project comes up next. It's saved me several trips to the hardware store already and opened up possibilities for projects I wouldn't have attempted before. Definately one of the more useful tool investments I've made!

Good Overall Value for my 8240 Battery Powered 12 Volt Dremel.
Nice kit with a LOT of possibilities. One thing it lacked that I wanted was one disc capable of cutting metal. However, you’ll need to buy this separately as the included cutting disc is not meant to cut through metal. For example, I have a cyclone fence piece that I am cutting to size to cover fence areas that my dogs can penetrate and get into the neighbor’s yard. I bought a separate disc for this for less than 20 bucks on Amazon and I’ll review it after it arrives. Generally speaking though, this is a comprehensive kit that will let you do many things with your dremel that you never knew it could do. Would buy again.

Great attachments for on the go.
Has everything you will need and then some. Honestly I will not have to buy any more attachments for YEARS. Everything is neatly organized and available when you need it. Good for on the go work.

Works very well as intended
Every piece works very well, I bought extra rotary saw blades as it doesn't have more than one.

Huge, budget-friendly kit that covers almost everything, with some quality tradeoffs
I picked up this set as a catch-all for my shop and household projects. After several sessions on wood, plastics, and light metals, my take is simple. It does the job, the variety is terrific, and the price is hard to beat. The tradeoff is durability. These wear faster than premium Dremel brand stuff and a few small parts were loose in the box when it arrived. Unboxing and organization Be careful when you first open the case. Some small pieces had escaped their compartments in transit, including the tiny red fiber washers used with the cut-off wheel mandrels. I ended up spreading a white towel on my workbench and opening it slowly so nothing bounced away. Once I corralled the strays, the layout made sense and the case has stayed serviceable, but I now keep the really tiny parts in a small zip bag inside the lid. Compatibility and fit Everything I tried fit standard 1/8 in collets on my various rotary tools. Mandrels seated squarely, sanding drums slid on without a fight, and the felt and fabric buffs locked down as expected. Shank straightness was acceptable across the assortment. I did not run into wobble that made a bit unusable, though a couple of stones needed a quick dress to true the face. How the common pieces performed 1. Sanding drums Good for shaping wood, knocking down 3D-print layer lines, and deburring plastic edges. They cut fine at moderate RPM with a light touch. They wear quicker than name-brand drums, so expect to swap sleeves more often, especially on hardwoods. 2. Cut-off wheels They cut bracket stock, screws, and thin sheet just fine, but they are brittle. I had the expected couple of snaps when I twisted in a cut. Keep speeds within spec, let the wheel do the work, and always wear eye protection. The red fiber washers are essential for spacing and avoiding mandrel chew-through, so keep track of them. 3. Grinding stones Adequate for shaping softer metals and cleaning up rough castings. The bond feels on the soft side, so the stones glaze and lose shape faster than premium ones. A quick dress brought them back. 4. Wire and bristle brushes Useful for removing rust bloom and paint nibs. The bristles shed a little at high RPM. I run brushes slow and that keeps the mess down. 5. Felt and cloth buffs with compound Surprisingly handy for polishing small parts, plastic lenses, and hardware. They load quickly with compound and hold it well. Plan on them being single-project consumables. 6. Drills and specialty bits Fine for light material and pilot holes. For accuracy and longevity, I still reach for my dedicated drill index. What I liked 1. Sheer coverage. If you are tinkering, repairing, or building, this has a bit for almost every task. It is perfect for the “I just need a wheel or drum right now” moments. 2. Price to variety ratio. For what you pay, the number of usable pieces is excellent. 3. Decent case. Not bombproof, but compact and easy to stash on a shelf or in a drawer. Where it comes up short 1. Durability. Most consumables wear down faster than Dremel-brand equivalents. That is the main reason to keep expectations realistic. 2. Shipping jostle. Small parts can arrive loose; plan to sort before you start. 3. Consistency. You will find the occasional sleeve or wheel that is slightly out of spec. The huge count makes that manageable, but it is part of the bargain-kit experience. Real-world tips that helped 1. Open over a towel and bag the tiny red washers and extra mandrel screws. Losing those brings a project to a halt. 2. Use the right speed and a light touch. Heat and heavy pressure are what make budget abrasives vanish. 3. Dress stones and true cut-off mandrels. A minute of prep saves headaches mid-cut. 4. Treat it as a consumables bin. For precise tasks or heavy stock removal, switch to higher-grade bits, but keep this set for the everyday stuff. This kit is not Dremel quality, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It is a deep bench of consumables that will keep you moving through small jobs without multiple store runs. Everything I have used works, just expect quicker wear and plan on swapping parts more often. For the variety and the price, it earns a solid four stars and an easy recommendation for anyone who wants a comprehensive rotary-tool starter stash.

Presque exactement ce que j'attendais. Il manque par exemple des mandrins ou des scies pour métaux. À part ça, c'est parfait
