Neo Blurring Powder: Korean Oil-Control Compact with Pore Blurring, Smoothing Finish & Travel-Friendly, No-Spill Packaging

I’ve been pretty happy with this blurring powder overall. It does a great job of reducing shine and keeping excess oil off my face, especially when I first apply it. It gives my skin a smoother, more polished appearance without feeling heavy or cakey, which is exactly what I was looking for. The application is quick and easy, and the powder blends nicely into the skin. I also appreciate that the brushes clean up easily afterward, making it simple to maintain as part of my daily routine. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the oil-control effect doesn’t seem to last quite as long as I had hoped. That may be partly due to where I live—Houston’s heat and humidity can be brutal, especially during the summer. On particularly humid days, I find myself needing to touch up sooner than expected. That said, the powder still performs well and helps keep my skin looking less shiny throughout the day. It feels lightweight, doesn’t irritate my skin, and delivers a noticeable blurring effect. While I wish the longevity was a little better, I’m still happy with the purchase and would consider buying it again. It’s a solid product, especially for anyone looking for a simple way to manage oil and achieve a smoother-looking complexion.

I love this powder. I don’t have to try to match my color like normal powders. It just does its job with your own natural skin color. It’s a little tricky to get the right amount to come out of the base. If you get too much on your puff it can make your face have some white powder lines. I wash my hands and gently tap the base where the powder comes out of and I seem to have it dialed in to where I get just the right amount out. Just have to be gentle or A LOT will come out. It’s totally worth it though. It makes my skin feel and look so soft and not oily and really no powder lines ever like from compact powders. I absolute love and recommend this. Even for the price. Oh! Avoid eyebrows lol or you will look like an old lady or man because it does grab the white color. Not that it’s difficult to get off but if you are in a hurry and don’t realize it, it could look a little funny. I’m never going back to compressed powder or powder foundation. It also feels just so much lighter. Like breathable but with the same coverage. Buy it! Worth the price! And the puff is super cush and soft!

This powder is amazing. It mattifies the skin with a sort of blurring effect. It doesn’t seem to take much product to work efficiently, either. It doesn’t look cakey like some powders do. Very lightweight. The only draw backs are the size and the inability to see when you need to get more. The cushion thing is a good idea in theory, but when you have no visual on the product and sometimes don’t even see if powder is coming out, it doesn’t perform well in practice. I think it’s still worth trying, it’s definitely one of my favorite powders I’ve ever used. I’m only giving four stars because of the things I mentioned before as draw backs. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed in the results while using this powder, but the size might be a tad annoying. All in all, go ahead and buy it. You’ll probably like it.

I was skeptical trying yet another powder. I was afraid that this would be just another product that promises without delivery of results. But I gotta tell ya, this product more than delivered! I wear this without any primer or foundation. And I only wear a tiny bit of concealer and feel like the result is much more even than the full face of makeup. Yes, you have to touch your face up more often if you live in humidity. However, it doesn’t feel like it makes your face more oily! It does actually seem like it absorbed some oil and the pores look more relaxed. I have not tried this with my Elta Md tinted sunscreen. Honestly, it just depends on what you need and where you are wearing it, and what you are wearing it with (as with any makeup). I love wearing this at home right after washing my face and/or spraying some hypochlorous acid formulated for the face. I don’t think I will wear it over my sunblock, but I did appreciate how a little bit of concealer went on when applied over the powder already on my nose. (I’m using NARS Soft Matte concealer.) I wouldn’t wear this over my sunblock because my sunblock is oily. And because the powder pouf is sooo soft! I’ve never had any powder include a pouff like this and I wouldn’t want to dirty this one with other formulas. The design of this compact is also really great. I love how there’s a feature to prevent spillage and release fine, loose powder onto only the pouf. And inside the compact is a section that separates and holds the pouf, but keeps the rest of the powder contained while allowing you to open the compact to use the mirror and never have a messy surprise! I will post pictures later and update beyond that, if necessary. LOVE this brand!

Love Laneige products and I was pretty excited to receive this one. As a blurring powder it does the job and it does it better than other's that I have used, such as the Fenty one - both are great but Laneige finish is more refined - it sits lovely on the skin! However, I am pretty disappointed with the packaging - for one it is bulky, but most importantly every time I close it a powder gets blown in the air - no matter if there is powder on the dispenser or not. It comes straight from the powder storage. The design in that regard is seriously lacking. I was looking for something which won't crack like the Fenty for example so I thought this is it but it is not. Also, I am not a fan of the mirror.

The Laneige Neo Blurring Powder is a terrific new product. I was initially hesitant because my skin is super fair, I don’t wear a lot of makeup, and I recently entered the over 60 realm. But their lip sleeping mask has long been part of my evening ritual—I actually can’t fall asleep if I’m not wearing it, so I wanted to give this a try. My experience with this blurring powder has been equally iconic. I have tried similar products that left my skin pasty and sticky, but this one goes on like magic. Laneige provides VERY detailed instructions for its use and care. The puff is huge—expanding even further when you pop it open. The surface is covered with a sticker explaining everything about the use; it can also be reapplied to help keep the surface clean. The surface covering the powder has tiny slits in alternating directions; you have to gently press the puff into it to release very small amounts of the powder. You don’t need much but can add coverage as needed. And it definitely does what it claims—it works subtly to blur pores and has a matte finish that looks great all day. I have never used a powder that works so well that it needed no additional application—my shiny t zone remained under control until I washed my face in the evening. The instructions specifically state that the rubbery surface has to be kept clean, I suppose so the slits don’t become clogged. As I wrote earlier, the instruction sticker really helps with this. The case itself is excellent; the hard plastic top opens with a mirror and the puff, then another plastic layer separates that from the powder. The case itself is very sturdy, so you can easily toss it in your bag and not worry about it breaking or spilling. My one issue is probably unavoidable. Because you apply this over moisturizer, base, or foundation, the puff picks up some of that color which is very noticeable after even the first use. I imagine that while the compact itself is low maintenance, the puff is going to require more cleaning than your typical brush. The Laneige Neo Blurring powder at $25 is not inexpensive, but it works well and seems to have a gracious amount of product. Its delivery time on Amazon is now listed at one to three weeks so I imagine other users are spreading the word! PS I just washed the puff with a little face soap and cool water. The makeup washed right off and it dried quickly, almost good as new.

Great product and transparent for your face, no grease and perfect for makeup

This powder delivers on its blurring promise - it really does create a smooth, airbrushed finish on the skin. Dispenser concerns: The push-down dispenser mechanism is a bit nerve-wracking to use. I never quite know how much product will come out when I press, which makes it tricky to avoid waste or getting too much powder at once. It takes some practice to get the feel for it. I also can't see how much product remains in the compact, so I have no idea when I'll actually need a replacement. You're basically flying blind until it suddenly runs out. The puff: The included puff is wonderfully soft and fluffy, which feels nice on the skin. However, since I'm using this as a finishing powder over foundation, the puff picks up my foundation color pretty quickly. You'll likely want to wash it regularly or have a backup puff on hand. Performance & portability: No white cast, which is great (though full disclosure - I'm not very tanned, so those with deeper skin tones should test this). The compact is nicely sized for travel - small enough to slip into any bag without taking up much space. Bottom line: The blurring effect is fantastic and the compact size is convenient, but the dispensing system could use some improvement. If you can get past the learning curve with the dispenser, it's a solid finishing powder for touch-ups throughout the day.

When recommended this product by a friend, I was skeptical. It worked so well and has become a daily part of my routine. It magically blurs out the pores and gets rid of oil instantly. Would very much recommend this to be in everyone's make up bag.
