I am from Europe , Miele appliances have been the only appliances in my home as far as I can remember and so in my mother’s home before me ! One month ago I replaced my washing machine after 18 years of implacable performance and not one repair with the new and amazing W1 washing machine. I have been using Persil( made in Germany ) for many years but I decided to try Miele powder detergent for a change . Miele detergents are made specifically for Miele washing machines and I now know why . The results are unparalleled and surpass Persil performances . For one Miele detergent doesn’t sudd as much and rinse much better than Persil . Second it’s more economical and better for the environment because you use less . Miele detergent leaves all my white dazzling bright , without any residue and with lovely fresh clean scent . I only got the Ultra White but I will order the one for color soon . And I forgot to mention the little measuring cup which comes in the package for precise measuring ! Miele you are the best !

Have used this for years at the recommendation of Miele for use in our Miele washer, have since moved and don’t have a Miele washer anymore, thought we would switch back to a standard brand that is available at any box store but we found nothing was cleaning like this and our machine doesn’t get gunked up with residue. Was happy to see amazon carrying this product as this always needed some forethought to go to the appliance store or order through Miele. Miele charges for shipping this ships free with Prime. Yes this is pricey compared to the standard household name products but this lasts a long time, a tablespoon or two is all you need. Cleans well and great for sensitive skin, no real scent.

I have used this product for white (and lights) clothes for 16 years and a box lasts for a very long time. I was advised by a Miele serviceman to only use 1 tbsp per load and I wash lights about 5 times a week. One box has lasted me for 10 months or more. I wonder what’s happened to the Miele detergent for coloured clothes. Amazon only offers it as part of a package which I don’t need to buy. I hope they haven’t stopped making the powder detergent for coloured clothes because it too works extremely well and lasts for about a year. I did recently buy their liquid detergent for coloured clothes but I’ll be surprised if it lasts for 6 weeks. Love their boxes of powdered detergent and I hope they will keep making both of them. They are the Best Buy for a quality detergent that I’ve ever found.

Great for use on whites. Much better than ordinary detergent.

Our towels were getting stiff and gray-ish and not comfortable. I'm a big fan of Miele dishwasher products so I thought I'd try this for our laundry. Wow! What a difference it's made in our clothes! The discolored towels are white again and soft, but still absorbent, which can be lost using fabric softeners. I'm so glad that I switched over. My husband keeps trying to use up the rest of the detergent we used before and I can tell the difference right away. Also, I'm sensitive to fragrances and after the laundry is done, there's no lingering perfume smell. It just leaves our clothes and towels smelling fresh.
