Is the case dishwasher safe?

I am sure they are but I always did by hand just because. They are great and perfect size. Granddaughter loves them. Very well made with nice case.

Are these large enough for a 8-10 year old?

Yes, I believe it is. My 23 month old toddler uses then and loves them.
