Rechargeable USB D Cells batteries with charger kit

So far so good. The first slot is a little slower than the others but overall it's fine.

Love this handy charger! Great for all types and brands of rechargable batteries, and it's helped me go almost completely disposable battery-free! The lights work great, charges in about half the time of a cheaper and smaller version, and I've had no issues so far.

The description leads to believe that the charger will charger any brand battery that is 1.5 v lithium battery. My experience has not found that to be true. It will charge the CT Energy batteries quick and they appear to be good lasting batteries, but the charger does not appear to charge any of the brands of rechargable batteries I have. Note - make sure you use only 1.5v batteries if you order this charger.

I got this because I have several other battery chargers and was hoping this universal one would charge the other batteries as well. I don’t need two and three battery chargers around when one will do the job.This universal battery charger can handle AAA to D-size batteries. I tried my AAA and AA batteries. The AA ones charged fine. However, one set of AAAs showed incompatible even though they were the same brand as the AA. So, that is an issue with the battery, not this charger.I don’t have any C or D-size batteries, so I couldn’t test for that. But I wanted a charger that could handle them for future use.This charger comes with four D batteries that can be charged in the charger or via USB. I was intrigued by this as I had never heard of USB capability before. I charged one battery via USB and the other via the charger. The battery charged quicker with the charger, but it's nice to have the USB option when a power outlet isn’t available.The D batteries are very light. That seems odd to me. I’m curious whether they have the power of a regular D battery. I just got a lantern that uses D batteries, so I’m testing out how long they last. I will update this review if the batteries die out very quickly.Overall, I’m pleased with the versatility of this universal battery charger and that four D batteries were included. So many chargers only come with AAA/AA batteries.

This is just what I was looking for. Some of our Christmas decorations use D batteries, and they will go through a set of batteries in about a week. These lithium batteries not only lat longer, but they can be recharged pretty quickly with the included charger, or can be charged directly with a standard USB-C cable. Good money saving solution

This is so much better than having to buy expensive batteries at least once a month! This i9s a set of 4 D batteries with the charging block and type C charger. The block can not only charge the D batteries, but AA,AAA, and C batteries as well. What I like the most about this product is this: if I am using the charger block to charge AA batteries, I can still charge my D batteries by plugging a C charger DIRECTLY into the top of the D batteries! How great is that?!The batteries do hold a charge for longer than I expected, but that may or may not change with more use/charges.As of right now, 5 stars. If for any reason I need to update my review in the future, I will.If your family is like mine and goes through a ton of batteries, this may be the solution for you too! The price is a little high, but with all it can charge and if you compare to others, it is most definitely reasonable..plus if you calculate what you're spending on batteries, I am sure this is WAY cheaper, :)

This is a package with two different but complementary items. It has a very flexible charger that's able to fit D, C, AA and AAA batteries, and unlike many others it can ALSO charge both rechargable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries AND rechargable Lithium batteries. These two types usually have incompatible chargers.Lithium batteries are more expensive, have a much higher capacity and provide a more even power source than either Alkaline or rechargable Nickel Metal Hydride, so the four D batteries included in this package are able to pack a real wallop. I use two D batteries for a refrigerator fan that usually runs about a month or so, evening out the flow in a small (no ventilation) fridge, but these will likely only have to be recharged every 6 months or so. These are also lighter than typical D batteries, even as they pack a lot more power.Like the charger, these D batteries ALSO have an unusual feature: They can be charged directly with a USB-C cable if the input is 500mV (the typical older charging power for cellphones and small devices.) So basically the battery has a built-in charging circuit inside it.
