So you have to read the fine print that this is PU "leather". AKA Plastic, wrapped around cotton cord. That said, it is moderately sturdy for what it is, and its cost. The real problem is the included "video" which is actually just a link to a company website that doesn't have any functional purpose to it. This is really unhelpful when the sale point for including the video is purportedly to train the dog owner on how to use the lead safely and effectively. That said, a couple YouTube and google searches and we muddled through. If you aren't willing to do that, consider a different leash! We know enough now to move on to a better lead. But this one did ok for what it is and what it cost.

Nice for the money, soft, a little thicker than what i need, but usable

We have a very strong Exotic Bully, this slip lead was perfect for showing her. It is very durable but classy at the same time! If you’re a bully owner that shows your dogs I would highly recommend this lead.
