This is a great little truck—I got the pink one for $100 on a Black Friday sale. My four kids each have an SCX24, but theirs have lights, and one is a hard body. This one is marginally better at crawling up a slope because of the lower center of gravity. A front tire binds when I reverse and turn hard, and one complaint I have about the controller is that 50% speed is barely slower than 100%. But it's fantastic fun for the price, and micro crawlers are cheap to repair and hardly ever break.

So we gave this rc as a Christmas present. The battery only charged once. We went to a hobby store and apparently they sent all this type of rc back as they had faulty batteries. He was shocked that company’s were still selling them with these faults. Disappointed for the price. So we had to buy a new battery the next day.
