The Ninja SLUSHi is an absolute blast! It’s super easy to use just pour in your liquid, select a mode (Slush, Milkshake, Frappé, Frozen Cocktail, or Juice), and watch it turn into perfectly frozen drinks. No ice needed, so the flavours stay full and delicious every time. The large capacity is perfect for sharing, and the machine runs quietly thanks to the WhisperChill compressor. It’s fast too you can have your slush ready in about 30 minutes, and it keeps it frozen for hours. Cleaning is simple with removable parts and a rinse cycle. It’s a big unit, so make sure you have counter space, and remember it works best with some sugar or sugar alternative in your drinks. Even so, this is a fun, high-quality appliance that makes entertaining or treating yourself easy and tasty.

This is a perfect item to have in your kitchen especially in the spring and summer months, the slush is great and it’s so easy to use, you can use different flavours according to taste. It’s not too big either. We’ve got it right next to our ninja creami machine. Great for the summer when it gets a bit hotter, so far we’ve made frozen tropical fruit juice, chocolate milkshake, Fanta orange pop, pina colada ( our favourite) & lemon & lime slushie 10/10. Just an absolute delight to have.

I have been looking for a commercial slush machine for a long time, but the only problem was you have to re- gas them after a period of time and can be a bit costly. Wow, when Ninja bought out a slush machine i jumped at the chance and brought one. Fantastic item, easy to clean and maintain. Love it and would recommend to anyone. Value for money. Great for kids party's for normal slushies or cocktails for Adults in the summer. What a fantastic item.

Very robust and stylish product. This device is often emulated but Ninja build quality is usually better than generic products and they seem to make things that work easier than other companies. I got a great deal in the Black Friday week, even better than big box retailers so I’m very happy with the value and price. To avoid this icing up it is necessary to use syrups with a high sugar content, I don’t use sweeteners so I don’t know if they also work. The slushies produced are the same as the ones you can buy in cinemas and are a god send on hot days. It is possible if you can buy fizzy drinks that are sugar based to pour in a litre bottle for example and let the machine make your favourite soft drinks that are into slushie although I haven’t tried it yet. I have tried ginger ale syrup from soda stream though and that was great, I also made lemonade syrup from lemon juice and sugar which tasted fantastic but is acidic in the stomach. If you have a big family or frequent visitors this will be loved and get a lot of use in summer. It’s easy to clean and store away when not I use too.

As soon as I saw the price on the Ninja SLUSHi Frozen Drinks Maker, I hit the buy now button – I have been looking at getting a similar device and put off by the price. It hasn’t disappointed me. It is easy to setup; take out of the box, as it has a proper compressor cooler you need to leave it for a few hours to settle down, whilst that happens clean up the drum and the rotating Archimedes screw. It’s not a small device - 41.35 x 42.98 x 16.56 cm the footprint. It weighs about 10kg. The small width makes it easier to fit on my countertop. You can make drinks as small as 450ml up to 1.9l. The controls are simple membrane style push buttons, with a heavy power switch on the back. There are safety features that detect if drinks are freezing up too hard, which sound an audible alert. This happened with my first drink a chocolate milkshake. Those safety features make using the SLUSHi simpler. The main rule of thumb is to have a high enough sugar content, or a low enough alcohol content. There are recipes included that dose up sugar free soft drinks to make them work in the machine and keep the sugar content down. My milkshake when it warmed up a little was lovely and far better than the mode on the Creami ice cream machine. It was cold and smooth with very small ice crystals resulting in little crunch. I made my morning orange juice into a SLUSHi this morning and it had a lovely drinkable texture. The only thing not in the box is a straw thick enough to drink with. The make has drinks ready in about 30 minutes. When you have made your drink there is a rinse mode to clear out the insides for another round. If you aren’t going to use it again quickly; the main plastic container slips off for washing, as does the screw. If you are using it on a hot and humid day, there is a drip dray to catch the condensation. It’s very easy to use and can even make my breakfast orange juice more exciting. Bring on summer proper.
