I love the looks of this umbrella with the fringe. It seems to be durable and is easy to open and close. I do store my umbrellas during the winter to help make them last longer. It was a good value for the quality.

I have nothing in common with the reviewer who said this color is ugly. This is my second one. I love the way it looks and it’s nice and big!! The first one looked better though. This fringe isn’t as nice and has a yellowish color to it. One piece of fringe was pulled out on the first day and I feel like I need to steam the scallops which look wrinkled. The first one was just a tad more fabulous but it was from Home Depot and had rich white fringe & a brown pole, so maybe it was a little different. They should go back to the other fringe if they switched it! That said, I will need another after this one fades. It’s so perfect for my patio and front porch. I pray they didn’t discontinue it!

The cheap rope in the crank/pulley system broke the second time we opened it. It was not fixable. Getting a return is difficult at best -you have to make a request, and then they send you a label that’s not printable with a note that says “if you can’t use this label, send it to this address. But, with or without the label, the return is not free- even for a defective product!! Is it a cute umbrella? Yeah, but it’s cheaply made, especially compared to the replacement I bought at the same price point, which used much higher quality fabric and a much sturdier pulley system.
