Q: Will this work with chromium os please. if not - any recommendations for a usb wireless adabter that will please?

As already reported to Amazon, it didn't worl with Windows10. I wouldn't have a clue about Chrome! I can tell you that I'm unimpressed with the product and with Amazon!

Q: There is no setup or install option in the linux folder can anyone help or do i need to return it?

There is a script, but it only works on one form of Linux (can't remember which) and doesn't work on any Debian based distro. Which is a bit cr*p.

Q: What is the correct link to download the driver for windows x64 system?

Sorry, I cannot help you. I used the drivers on a mini optical disk provided with the WiFi dongle. It works great!
