Winterworm1.8 Watt Solar Power Water Pump Garden Fountain Submersible Pump

Worked all of last year and this summer as well, making a yard frog spit water into his lily pond leaves. It does take direct sun to work, even a little cloud for a moment will stop water flow...it is powerful enough for small fountains, and the intermittent water sounds are delightful. I left the little panel out all winter, and just washed it with a damp cloth when starting again.

Yes it works great but only in direct afternoon sunlight. Maybe it's because it is now late September (Michigan) and the sun is too weak in the morning? Also any clouds or tall tree branches and the pump will only trickle. Solar panels work best for charging batteries and it's best to let the batteries do the work. Seems like every time I went to show it to someone, a cloud came by and it barely worked.

This is very sensitive to clouds, but otherwise I like it. Living in TX, clouds aren't usually a big problem. Wouldn't you know ever since I set up the bubbler we've had record rainfall! I have it in a bird bath hidden by rocks. I don't use the attachments, just use it as a bubbler; If the bird bath was bigger, I would probably use an attachment.

Works good

This poor guy. It DOES work BUT it's cheap for a reason. It only works when so in directly blaring on it. And sometimes it on squirts intermittent. Since there is no battery it does not hold power so you would literally have to move the panel and follow the sun. I would not buy another or suggest you to buy one.

The water runs from my cascade fountain and keeps on running with a good strong flow. I just have to remember to add water everyday or to turn the pump off when we are gone. I've tried many I like this one the best.

The system works great, using it to pump water through an old hand well pump. Problem is the pumps don't last long. I think lighting at night is frying them. It's a hassle to unplug it at night.

I waited for my fountain to arrive to convert it with this solar fountain pump so now it's too late to return it. This solar pump is a waste of money. It doesn't work.
