I'm a beginner gardener. so I ended up doing what I guess most do when they go to a big box store, and purchased one of the seed starting kits with the peat pots. A big mistake. My first set of seedlings sprouted fine, but soon after mold started to develop on the trays. Not only did that end up killing them off, but it seems I have a very bad allergy to mold.So I had been watching YouTube videos from epic gardening and ended up looking at their products. So I decided to go all in and ordered the works that included lights, trays and these 6 cell starter trays, and they've exceeded my expectations.The sturdy construction ensures they won't bend or crack, even after multiple uses. The large drainage holes and side slits make transplanting seedlings effortless and promote healthy root development. And best of all no MOLD!They fit perfectly into standard 10x20 trays, maximizing space without any gaps. and I could leave the seedlings in till they were a decent size before up potting. Overall, these trays are a fantastic investment for any gardener looking for reusable and efficient seed starting solutions.

Absolutely love these, the six cell is the perfect size for starters and they fit snugly into a 10 x 20 tray so no spaces wasted.They are super solid and really well-made. The hole is nice and big (I could easily fit my sausage finger in) and slits in the side are really an excellent design.You can stick your finger in the hole and pop out the seedling plugs with no problem and bottom watering is fast and easy with the additional slit and large hole.These are worth the $ and will last for years.

These are great for starting small seeds in! Love that they are sturdy, love the air pruning, love that reusability, love how easy the seedlings are to get out, love the thick quality plastic, and love that bottom watering is a breeze!However, they are very small. They are perfect for tiny seeds, like strawberry seeds, basil seeds, lavender seeds, onion or green onion seeds. I do NOT recommend planting anything bigger in these unless you want to spend the rest of your days up-potting. Tomato seeds, pepper seeds, flower seeds like zinnias and marigolds, sow those into an epic 4” 4-cell (I don’t recommend the 3” too shallow) so you can plant them directly in the ground when they’re big enough or you maybe have to up-pot them once but that’s it.

Love these seed trays. I have tried a few other brands, but these Epic Seed Trays really let the seedling roots do their thing without being trapped. High Quality. Great small size to get a lot of plants in a small space. There is a big whole at the bottom to pop them out. The plastic is thick and does not bend.The color is an orange terracotta.Plan on keeping them forever.

Love that there’s multiple colors available. These feel sturdy and I appreciate that the dirt doesn’t cling to the outside so they’re easy to clean. I love the big hole at the bottom to help get everything out. I don’t see any reason why I’d need to stop using these at any point as they seem like they’ll last.I do hate that there aren’t matching colors from this brand for the trays or to up-pot to as I refuse to buy anything that isn’t a color I like so I needed to buy the rest from other companies. I also wasn’t able to buy a humidity dome for this size of their cells as they only had them available for other sizes. But that’s unrelated to this specific product and more a gripe with the brand’s other products.

Exactly what I was looking for. I'm so glad to have something reusable for my seed starting. Love the color options. Thanks Epic Gardening for making something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Saving up to invest in the 4 tray set.
