Convenient and Great Tasting Water
I have used this for about a month and I am glad I purchased. We got tired of buying bottled water and having to store the extra bottles, etc. We also tried a water machine, but having to constantly fill the 5 gallon jugs with quarters just got annoying as did having to store the extra jugs. The Brita fits in our refrigerator and the extra filters are small and easy to store. The larger capacity is really nice. The size and the spout is great for placing in the refrigerator to always have cold water. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the water filters now (my Brita pitcher from many years ago was very slow). It was so fast I initially thought the filter wasn't working! My entire Brita fills up in about 1 minute or less. I love the 'handles' at the top which make it easy to transport from sink to fridge when full. I did buy the higher-end filters. I live in an area where we have extremely hard water and the chlorine levels can be high enough that you can both taste and smell it. I have not had any issues with the Brita filter clearing up such hard, chlorinated water. The water tastes clear. In my opinion, it is better than bottled water taste-wise. I have been very impressed at how well the water is filtered. I also use the filtered water in tea kettles and such and do not get nearly as much hardwater residue. I have recommended this to others in my area as it is a an economical way to get very clean drinking water. This tastes just as good as a reverse osmosis system but is a fraction of the cost even when purchasing more filters.

My favorite filtered water dispenser!
I recently got the Brita Ultra Max for my home and it's honestly become a staple in our kitchen. Right off the bat, this thing holds a ton of water about 27 cups which means I only need to refill it every couple of days. That's a huge win during busy work weeks. The setup was straightforward. Filling the reservoir and letting it filter through took just a few minutes, and once it was ready wow the water tasted noticeably smoother and cleaner than tap water. Not just less chlorine, but even ordinary mineral flavors seem muted now. The dispenser itself is impressively well built. The sturdy handle makes it easy to lift, and the strong spigot dispenses water cleanly with no drips or mess. I keep it on my counter and it doesn't feel oversized or cluttered. In fact, we use it so often that our refrigerator barely gets touched now especially when I'm grabbing water for coffee or cooking. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Brita Ultra Max for anyone who wants easy access to cleaner, better tasting drinking water especially in a household of two or more. It's large, reliable, and really takes the hassle out of staying hydrated.

Superb way to have your water and drink it too 😉
A quick and easy way to have plenty of water 💦 that you can trust. With a pull-out faucet sprayer, it is not only super easy to fill, but it’s width allows it to easily sit on the edge of the sink, from where it can fill water bottles day or night. I have a night light behind mine, so in the evening if I approach it it lights up, allowing for a quick glass of water and “back to bed.” We keep the cold water bottles in the fridge. Great for the family, especially with the last lasting refills which are worth the price.

Excellent!!!
We ordered this hoping it would help after getting a new well put in. We got a water testing kit for basic testing and our water is pretty good. It has a high total alkalinity, which was really the only thing really out of whack. Iron, pH, bacteria, sulfide, manganese, hardness, mercury, nitrates were all normal. We have a filter on the water coming into the house and this just filters it more. From the tap the total alkalinity was at the 240 range which was the highest measurement. With the Brita it measured 180. So it did help. The water does taste a little bit better too. I can't say anything about the other trace elements because we didn't have them in our water, but it did lower the total alkalinity to normal levels so it is doing something. The slim design fits perfectly in our side by side fridge and I do love having the spout on the front is great for filling glasses and water bottles. So far there have been no leaks from the spout or the container. Of course user error when filling the top while it's still in the fridge or a cat tripping you up on the way to put it back in said fridge cannot be blamed on Brita. The filters are very fast, much faster than the old ones that I used to have. However, when it starts getting full, the filter does slow down, but...physics. So not too surprising. The filter will be very fast until the water rises above the bottom of the filter, then it will slow down...a lot. But it will still filter. I just keep water in the top until the bottom fills up. There is an indicator on top to let you know when to change the filter. Not sure how it works, but it lights up every time I close the lid. Time will tell. That reminds me, I need to order filters so I have them on hand. Sigh. I do keep a pitcher to fill the top so I don't have to carry it from the sink to the fridge. It's not too heavy if it's empty and you are only filling the top, but water weight begins to add up. 1 gallon = about 9 pounds, roughly. So it's up to you haw much you want to carry. Keeping a pitcher to fill up the top is much easier, and remember the cat, sometimes safer. Also if you have dogs, small children, etc. It's also wonderful not having to spend money on cases of water bottles every month!! Less waste and save money! It works great, functional, and actually did make a difference in my water testing. I do recommend it. Better than the old Brita pitcher and the filters are better too. So far!

nice size
Nice! took a while to get used to the timing for the filter but it's got a great amount of storage and easy to fill and use. We use a 1/2 gallon jar from the sink to the filter so we don't have to carry it full. Less mess!

Works very well depending on your fridge setup
Picked this up as a replacement for a standard pitcher, as my household uses 30-40 oz tumblers for water and I was tired of refilling the standard Brita pitcher after every use. The UltraMax works very well if you have a fridge that allows for in. In my fridge, I am able to keep it stably on a shelf that allows me to still access and open the fill lid; as such, I am able to use a large 40+ oz tumbler to dump water into the top of the Brita for quick filling. In more cramped refrigerators, the open-top design of the hatch would require you to fully remove the Brita to refill. I was very cautious in installing the spigot and have not yet experience any leaking as others have reported, although the plastic-on-gasket design leaves me with little doubt it can (and possibly will) happen.

Refreshing, better drinking water.
This Brita Dispenser is durable and fits nicely on the top shelf of fridge. It’s easy to to take out of fridge and refill. I like how this comes with filters. It’s easy to take out on our patio and drink while doing yard work. We filled a few times and drained before we used it. Water tastes great, no smell.. my husband tested the water with his tester and much safer to drink than our tap water. Definitely worth the money.

Brita UltraMax Large Water Dispenser and Filter
I purchased two of these Brita UltraMax Large Water Dispensers. And, the recommended Water Filters. I feel at ease knowing the water I'm drinking has been filtered and safe for consuming; whether, drinking, mixing for consumption, cooking, etc. This Company (Brita) has been in the Business for years and is Leader in the Industry. These Dispeners are made of a Durable Plastic, free of harmful Chemicals, minus any smell. They don't require a lot of Counter Space. I like their Design as they suit my Kitchen Interior. For me they are a good value for what they do in protecting your Physical Health. Each Filter can filter gallons of Water so that's another major plus. I would buy again. I recommend this Brita Product.

Fantastic quality water filter at affordable price!
This is a great depenser size that fits into the corner of my kitchen, its a better filter than the basic Brita filter, Brita Plus filter retores and cleans the quality of tap water in a hard water area. This is definately a remarkable buy under £70. Definately worth the money and saves on cheap bottled water, which has residues of plastic, which can be harmful to the body. Its saved alot of money on bottled water too!!! Very happy with this purchase:)
