Excellent 220W Portable Panel - High Real-World Output & RV-Friendly High Voltage!
We were genuinely impressed with this 220W rated portable solar panel right from the start. When first connected to our EcoFlow River 2 Pro power station around 9 am on a mid-April day (~65°F ambient), it immediately registered 200 watts (see photo) – already exceeding expectations. As the panel warmed up in the sun, the output stabilized at a very respectable 183 watts. This real-world performance (ranging from approx. 83% to 91% of its rated maximum under these conditions) is excellent.RV Integration & Voltage Advantage:Our primary reason for getting this panel was to augment the 1000W rooftop solar array on our RV (featured on our YouTube channel), especially when parked in partially shaded spots. This panel's output voltage (around 40V) is a major advantage for us. It allows us to wire it directly in parallel with our existing 40V rooftop panels using the same solar charge controller – something panels with lower voltages couldn't do efficiently. The higher voltage also means lower current for the same power, allowing for potentially smaller gauge wiring runs if needed.Important Note for RV Integration: This parallel connection works well because our existing rooftop panels operate at a similar high voltage (~40V). If you intend to parallel this panel with an existing RV solar array, you MUST ensure your existing panels have a compatible voltage (specifically, a similar Voltage at Maximum Power or Vmp). Many traditional RV solar panels are lower voltage (e.g., 12V nominal, with Vmp often below 24V). Attempting to connect this high-voltage (~40V) panel in parallel with significantly lower-voltage panels will result in poor performance, as the system's output will likely be dragged down towards the lower voltage, severely limiting the power harvest from this panel. Check your existing system's specifications carefully before purchasing this panel for parallel integration.Performance & Temperature Effects:The panel performed admirably in charging tests, taking our EcoFlow River 2 Pro (768Wh) from 42% to 100% in about 2.5 hours, perfectly matching the ~183W sustained input observed.Curious about the drop from the initial ~200W to 183W as it heated up, I did a quick test. With the panels measuring around 125°F in the sun and producing 183W, I misted them with water, cooling them to about 100°F. The output immediately jumped to 192W. This clearly demonstrates the impact of heat on solar panel efficiency, governed by the Temperature Coefficient of Power. While I don't know the specific coefficient for these panels, observing 183W even at 125°F panel temperature is still very strong performance. Further testing on hotter summer days will be interesting, but based on this, the output is great.Physical Design & Features:Portability: The panel folds up neatly and is reasonably portable. While I didn't weigh it precisely, it felt lighter than our EcoFlow River 2 Pro and likely close to the stated ~13 lbs specification – quite manageable.Connectors & Adapters: It uses standard MC4 connectors, and the included adapter cable set is very versatile, seemingly having a connector for most common power station inputs. The storage pouch holds the cables well with extra room.Kickstands & Angling: The integrated kickstands work well for tilting the panel steeply towards a lower sun (e.g., morning/evening/winter). However, we noted a limitation: the strap connecting the leg to the panel restricts how far back the leg can go. This makes it difficult to get the panel to lay flatter (more parallel to the ground) which is needed for optimal alignment when the sun is very high overhead (like midday summer sun, common here in Southern California). This might require propping the front edge up slightly with boards (which we usually carry) in those specific high-sun conditions.Fasteners: The hook-and-loop fasteners that hold the panels closed are very strong. This is secure, but use caution when opening/closing, as they feel strong enough that they might cause wear on the fabric attachment points over time.Shading: As another reviewer noted - this entire thing is wired up in series - this means that even a little shading is going to have a big effect on power delivery. As a test, while it was producing 183 watts of power constantly, I shaded a small part of the panel with my phone (not a big phone, either). Power output dropped to the 90s. I moved the shaded part around and it was pretty consistent. If you block an entire panel the power drops to almost nothing.Overall:This is an excellent portable solar panel delivering impressive real-world wattage, achieving a high percentage of its 220W rating even under normal operating temperatures. The ~40V output is a huge plus if you need to integrate with existing higher-voltage RV systems (check compatibility first!). While the kickstand design might limit achieving a perfectly flat angle for peak summer sun without minor propping, its overall performance, portability, and useful voltage make it a fantastic option. Highly recommended for those needing substantial portable solar power, especially if the high voltage suits your specific setup.

Great price point
For the price to wattage output ratio I am very impressed. Even on an overcast day I was seeing 170 watts. It works great with my Ecoflow Delta and was great to have on the Family camping trip.

Amazing performance, I highly recommend this product!
I love it! I took it out and placed it in the sun with two panels facing optimally and two panels facing at an un-optimal angle to the sun just to see how it would do with only half the panels aligned to the best sunlight and it immediately started running at 352w,that is very impressive that a 400w panel ran at 352w even with two of the four panels incorrectly aligned to the sun!I could not be more impressed. You are usually lucky if a solar panel performs at 50% of its stated power output and this one performed at around 88% with only half the panels aligned correctly to the sun.Amazing! This panel will be able to fully charge my 1536wh solar generators in around only 3 hours and will be able to keep them topped off at 100% even while the generator is being used to power up to 350w of appliances!I could not be happier with the purchase, both the performance and the amazingly low price make this panel a WINNER! It also came with a nice long power chord and a 7 connector adapter so it will plug into just about any appliance or generator!I highly recommend this product!

Impressive quality, portable and powerful
I was very impressed with the quality of these panels. I unfortunately am in the learning stages with solar and the panel voltage wasn’t within the spec of the battery I am using so I have had to return it to get the right unit. I am disappointed as I really liked this unit.

Not worth $400.00 for this panel.
Product looks good if you get the right panel, the company sell a few different panels and they don't tell you which one you are going to get, I had to return a couple of panels in order to get the right one shipped out to me, (same 400 watts panels left side have 9BB and right side have 10BB) and both of them purchased on the same amazon site. performance wise is not what it seems to be (289watts to 309 watts) on a good day. You are better off getting a brand name and pay a little bit more.

Almost 10 watts more than rated!
I bought the 20 volt / 220W version of this panel; it was slightly more expensive than the 40V version but I had concerns about my equipment compatibility with the 40V version. This panel just arrived a few minutes ago, so I ran a quick test with my MPPT controller, and WOW I was impressed.Being rated for 220 watts, I was expecting around 180-200 watts (since almost every manufacturer lies about their panel's output rating; especially on the portable foldable type), BUT NOT THIS ONE!Immediately upon plugging in, my MPPT controller started pulling ~228 watts from this panel!I bought this for "car camping," and have not yet used it in that settings, so I can't speak to durability or other aspects.Non-Issue #1: Unfolding the panel was a smidge awkward the first time (the center folds together first, and then the remaining sides fold over that), but now that I know how it works it should be fine.Non-Issue #2: The kickstand legs are a little flimsy and the Velcro holding securing the legs to the main body is really strong (which would normally be a good thing); however, due to the length of the panel, it was a smidge awkward extending all of the legs without knocking over the panel or allowing the other legs to re-attach to the Velcro.

solar panel
Great solar panel, its very efficient on light cloudy days I will get at least 50 watts and in full sunlight I get 350+ watts. It is easy to clean I had to clean it after it rained. It is very big, even when folded it hits the ground without raising my shoulders but weight isn't a problem for me. Great buy for the price. No problem setting up very easy.Edit: I got a second one and it seems to do half the watts it's supposed to do
