I absolutely LOVE this antibiotic powder, I have purchased it twice already. I use it for myself if I get a cut or injury and I use it on my cats when they get a bad injury or an abscess. It works great for drying up and healing wound. I like the fact it's got almost the same ingredients as triple antibiotic ointment but it's in a powder form. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. The antibiotic powder is a very fine powder, the shaker top on the bottle is TOO BIG! When you shake powder out you waste a lot, because too much comes out of the big hole on the top of the bottle. To remedy this, I bought a roll of nylon window screen and cut a small 1" square piece out and put it under the screw cap, and screwed the cap back on, now it shakes out in a more controlled amount and not just one big chunk of powder. Maybe the company that makes this powder will see this review and redesign their shaker top so you don't dump out a half bottle of powder when you just need to cover a small cut! Other than the bottle, the powder works well on people and pets.

This powder worked very well on an open sore. Helped it heal quickly. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars, was due to the packaging. Like others have said, it would be better if there was some type of top with holes in it like other powder containers. Be careful when pouring some out, as it will come out fast with the wide open top.

Very fine and easy to apply. I got this per my doctor and I wondered if such a small bottle was worth the price. However, a little goes a long way. I was pleasantly surprised. It actually worked well and aided in my healing.

I suffered what I thought was a simple bug or spider bite, ignored it, and ended up with a very large wound requiring 6+ months of treatment 3 to 4 days a week at a wound care center to remove dead tissue. In between each visit, home care using this product actually worked better than anything the wound care center was using, and I was able to stop going entirely. The wound healed 3 times faster using this and my Doctors commented on how it had suddenly "just healed"

Works but very expensive. Needs better way to control flow oproduct. It dumps out too fast,

Great stuff! Mother used it on my boo boos when I was a kid. Careful. a little dab will do ya. Helps clot blood and scab to form. Only wish there was a good way to put it on. I try to place a little at a time with a Q-tip. Could use Vaseline or the antibiotic ointment for powder to stick for small spots. Just tap on out of container on larger wounds.
