Final Synopsis: The award-winning, critically acclaimed comedy Episodes returns for a much-anticipated fifth and final series. Sexy, rich and sophisticated, the final season of Episodes is the funniest one yet. Hearts are broken, egos are crushed, careers are ruined, sex tapes are revealed, and one very large pig is shot. Just another day in Hollywood.

A perfect ending.
Watched this series from the start and just had to have them on dvd too. Matt le Blanc and all the cast were brilliant and very funny. It's not for everyone I'm sure but it is for me.

Episodes - The Conclusion To One Of The Best Comedy Shows Of The Late 2000s
The last series of Episodes was a fantastic ending to the show, ever since the show first aired I've seen every episode, and this series completely lives up to my expectations of the series. If I could I would have given it more than 5 stars, the cast were fantastic all the way through this series, and I'm very sad it has come to an end, but at least it ended on a high!

‘Episodes’ is one of the funniest sitcoms I have ever seen. In the interests of full disclosure I should tell you that I always loved Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani in ‘Friends’ (I thought he was the best thing in it, next to Jennifer Anniston, that is) and his character here in ‘Episodes’ is essentially an extension of the persona, both on and off screen, which he built up during and after ‘Friends’. So I’m biased – anything with Matt LeBlanc in it is going to be just great in my book. And yet here there is added excitement because Stephen Mangan as Sean and Tamsin Greig as Beverly are an unbelievably close second to Matt LeBlanc. Perhaps that’s because as a couple of serious-minded Brit screenwriters, they are never a threat to the outrageously cavalier, disinterested and self-obsessed Matt Le Blanc. So how did we get to Series 5? That’s easy. Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan have a successful telly show in England that gets recreated in Los Angeles with Matt Le Blanc (actual Golden Globe winner for Episodes) in the lead role. It goes badly, it goes really well; it’s up and down like you wouldn’t believe. Meanwhile, the two Brits are having the best, and the worst, times of their lives – often caused by Matt Le Blanc’s antics. This culminates in a huge, and nicely unresolved, stand-off in the 6th and 7th episodes.I watched all seven episodes of Series 5 back-to-back on a long flight. It was great. This fifth series of ‘Episodes’, although the last, shows no signs of fatigue. I wish it would go on forever. Sad to see them go. But what a joy it’s been. 5 utterly outstanding stars.
