JACK PYKE All Terrain Hunters Boots - Full Grain Leather Waterproof Hunting Boots for Men with Thinsulate Insulation - Size 6-12 UK

Husband always wanted a brand new pair of Jack Pyke boots as his old ones were lightly worn, second hand ones he’s had for a number of years. The fit is good and he says they keep his feet warm. I feel they are rather expensive but time will tell if they are as good quality as his old ones and worth the money.

Great boots, l did a full day's beating, the day after they arrived, no blisters, no sore points!! Very comfortable, good stability on rough terrain. Also actually WATERPROOF, for once a boot that does what they say.

Excellent boots, purchased as a Christmas present for my husband who loves them. The are a very good fitting considering he is a wide fitting in a Clarkes shoe. He can confirm that they are warm, comfortable from the outset and 100% waterproof and tough. Also as boots go they are very competitively priced.

This is my second pair of these boots. The only thing that let the last pair down, was the tounge disintergrated and that is where they started to leak. The new pair are slightly different in design to my old pair which I've had for 3 years, so it will be interesting to compare. For what you pay for these boots though, you can't really go wrong. Comfortable right from the start, lightweight and warm with brilliant Vibram soles. Highly recommended.

No leaks so far too early to say

Got these in a size maked as UK11 EU45. I am consistently a EU45 in other footwear which is closest to a UK10.5, however I am variously a 10.5 or 11 in UK sizes. The width was good so I'm confident I couldn't have fitted in the UK10 which is the next smallest size they sell. But strangely there was too much space above the front of the foot and it wasn't possible to tighten the boot enough. Also the heel was not held at all securely and was rubbing. The place where the heel rubbed seemed rock hard with no padding at all. I was wearing my usual work socks which are fairly thick. Thicker socks or a deeper insole would not have solved the problem. Otherwise they looked fair quality. The eyelets were not locking so it was not possible to tighten parts of the foot differently. The central eyelet on the tongue was placed in an unhelpful location that made no significant difference. I was replacing a pair of Meindl so perhaps I have been spoilt. That said I have now found a pair of Amblers work boots which are cheaper yet a far better fit. The Jack Pyke boots are being returned. A shame as I had high hopes bases on other reviews.

Bought a size bigger to allow wearing thicker socks, comfortable boot.

Bought for my partner for his birthday! He’s delighted with them. Size perfect and very comfy.
