excellent
I love the creativity that this book has to offer. I am a Pilates teacher and was looking for a resource to spice up my classes and my own workouts. I have implemented some of the exercises in this book and my students love them. I have even seen a growth in my classes since spicing things up a bit. Things never get boring anymore. Eme provides a lot of thoughtful ideas and just plain fun exercises with some variations on some classical Pilates exercises. This book takes a different look at how to use the Pilates apparatus in such a creative way. I would highly recommend this book for anyone wanting a different, more open minded approach when working with springs and the Pilates apparatus.

Beautiful pictures. Well done
Beautiful pictures. Well done!If you are an experienced (3 years or more full-time with c.ed. under your belt) looking for exercises to plump out your teaching repertoire this book is for you. It is definitely aimed at teachers or advanced practitioners as it does not include any explanations, descriptives pacing suggestions. If you are a student looking for a how-to book, this book is not going to help you enough. Look for good DVDs and books aimed at teaching the moves. And nothing compares to real-time in-person training from a pilates professional, even if you can afford only groups. Do check that your teacher has done a good longer-term training. There is good guidance on about.com.

You need to buy the original maual
I didn’t realise this book was a follow up to another manual. There are no instructions just references to the original.Pictures are very good but this isn’t any use on its own
