A: 9 1/2 " outside to outside edge excluding the wheels

**Q: will this work in a sharp "half pint" microwave? model# R-1M53**
A: Your best bet is to measure the original (including the wheel diameter) and compare it to this one; the dimensions are posted. If they are within a millimeter or so, it will work perfectly.

A: I’m not certain but I think it will.

**Q: Will this turntable work for an Amana microwave ACO1520AC?  Mine current one is 9.5 in. diameter also**
A: The turntable did not work for our microwave  model. I did not do adequate research.  I plan to give it away.  Good luck
