EltaMD UV Physical Tinted 100% Mineral Face Sunscreen, SPF 40 and 41

I’ve been using this product for about five years and it’s the only sunscreen that I can use for my sensitive skin that doesn’t break me out and clog my pores. My aesthetician recommended it to me and it’s been my go to ever since. If you have sensitive skin, rosacea or a sun allergy, this sun sunscreen is amazing. You really get what you pay for with this.

Recommended by my dermatologist. Has a nice tint to it and I use it instead of facial makeup. Blends into skin easily. Highly recommend it and though it is costly it’s worth it.

This is a great sunscreen. As far as skin protection goes, its a winner, everyone will tell you that. I ordered this in the Rosy Tint as I was looking for a tinted sunscreen that would better match my light and freckled, pinkish skin tone. Sadly this "rosy tint" is far too fair for me. While other tinted sunscreens look yellow or orange on my skin, this one looks white. I can and do wear this around my eyes as a brightener and sunscreen, but I can't wear it all over. Sadly my search for a great tinted sunscreen with cool undertones continues . . . I think this would be a great choice for those who fall into the fair category of colors, but not for those of us considered light.

I’ve been really enjoying the EltaMD UV sunscreen! It feels lightweight, blends in easily, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or heavy. It works great under makeup and feels comfortable enough for everyday use. I also have sensitive skin, and it hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts. Definitely one of my favorite daily sunscreens!

STAY ALERT! The 'Rosy Tint' is literally HALF THE SIZE of the regular one and they have the NERVE to charge MORE than the actual tinted version! Don't waste your money - it's nothing but regular white untinted mineral sunscreen with the most pathetic hint of color that completely disappears on your face. Absolutely ridiculous! And don't even get me started on their greed - charging DOUBLE for what's basically their regular untinted product?! The 'rosy' marketing is such a joke, I can't believe they're getting away with this nonsense! But wait, it gets worse! 🙄 There's apparently a faulty batch of their standard version going around (just check the other reviews) and guess what? I got stuck with one of these crumbly messes too. And instead of doing the RIGHT thing and recalling this garbage, they're just slapping a discount on it and still selling it! Like wow, really Elta MD? You'd rather save a few bucks selling defective products than protect your reputation? Can't believe I trusted this brand. The sheer AUDACITY of selling a known bad batch under their name instead of taking the loss... Sure, maybe it's better for their precious bottom line, but way to destroy customer trust! NEVER buying from them again!!

I have very sensitive slightly rosacea prone skin that hates many sunscreens. For years I used another waterproof sunscreen that didn't break me out, but extremely difficult to remove since I can't use a washcloth on my skin. I called Elta MD, and was advised to use this sunscreen. It is very lighweight, and the tint isn't visible. It feels silky on my skin, and haven't broken out, and is easy to remove. A winner by all counts!

Great sunscreen! Doesn’t irritate my skin or eyes, and not too shiny or too dry looking. I’m quite pale and the rosy tint works well- from the name I thought it might be too pink/peachy but it’s not at all- just a pale more neutral tone.

Surprisingly drying and flakes. I’ll try again once I’m less tan with a different moisturizer and see if that makes a difference.
