Very good tool. Makes quick work of wood removal over large areas. Well made and sharp.

I was doing it with a pocket knife. Draw knife is faster and easier on my old muscles. I make around 50 walking sticks a year and it saved me two days.

Was looking for a budget friendly small draw knife. I got it for working on spoon handles. For what I’m using for, it’s perfect, even on extremely hard wood. It came extremely sharp, and with two bandaids lol. I have come to learn beaver craft makes quality tools. Everything I have gotten from them has been a lot of bang for the buck. Really can’t knock anything about it.

The small touches are the reasons for most of my reviews. I'm new to BeaverCraft tools, and had a pretty good laugh when 2 BeaverCraft Band-Aids fell out of the box. Really great touch, because I will need them.

Handles are very ergonomic and the blade is nice and sharp

The knife holds a great edge and comes razor sharp. Carves green wood easily and dry wood without any major issues or chatter. The edge geometry isn't the best on some woods, but if you go slow and steady, you can get good results. The pros: - good edge retention, rarely needs sharpening - handle shape is ergonomic enough and compact - does its job well for the price - good customer service from Beavercraft The cons: - sometimes can be too aggressive with edge geometry on knottier woods - has a learning curve to produce work without chatter
