Haynes Publications, Inc. 36022 Repair Manual

I've been using Haynes (or sometimes Chilton) manuals to maintain my vehicles for decades.They both now appear to contain identical content, slightly reformatted.The only significant difference seems to be that the paper used for the Chilton version is nicer, like thin copier paper (the stuff in the Haynes version is more like newsprint).I dinged this one star because I ordered a 2001-2012 manual and received a 2001-2017 version; I don't need the information covering the 2013-2017 vehicles and suspect that some of the detail in the older manual was removed to make room for the newer variations ... would rather have had the earlier book.

If you want to know about your Ford Escape/Mazda Tribute/Mercury Mariner, this is the book for you!I purchased a 2004 Mazda Tribute and wanted to perform some maintenance on my car. This book provides all the answers I was looking for. I couldn't find this information anywhere online (with the level of detail this book has). Shout out to Hayne's for making a quality product.

Have a couple of issues that need attention. Used this book to confirm on how to look for and repair issues.

I have used the Haynes publications for other vehicles I have owned. They are very helpful.

Gives good info on the mechanical things, Very limited on the electrical/electronic aspects. Totally silent on the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPM). Better than nothing I guess.

Exactly what I needed for my escape. Came to me fast. And was actually beneficial to a friend on his explorer.
