I bought these iodine swabs to keep in my home first aid kit, and they really impressed me. Each one is individually sealed, which makes me feel confident about the hygiene and sterility. They’re perfect for small cuts or scrapes. The iodine is already inside the swab—just snap one end and the liquid flows down. Super convenient, especially when dealing with kids or when you need something quick and effective. I also noticed they don’t sting as much as regular iodine and they’re not too messy. I think the idea is wonderful. Very small and takes up no room at all. Excellent to clean scraps and cuts. It’s going to be apart of my first aid kits. Just break it at the line and it is a decent amount to clean minor stuff. You’re not going to prep for surgery with these but a good addition and a space saver.

Easy to use, convenient to carry or store, individually packaged for sterile conditions. Good for wound care, but I use these to swab the inside of my nostrils during cold and flu season when I go in public places with the hopes of avoiding airborne germs that cause illness.

The swabs are a good size — compact and easy to keep in a first aid kit. Functionality is fine, but the iodine solution is quite weak — it has almost no color and doesn’t seem as strong as expected. For the price, it’s okay, but I wish the iodine concentration was a bit higher. The quality of the packaging is good, no leaks or mess.

I bought just to have on hand. I like the handiness of the swabs. One use and throw away. Worth buying.

For $5.99, this box of iodine swabs is a decent deal, especially for basic first aid kits. They’re individually wrapped and convenient. However, the swabs are quite small and don’t contain much iodine. I also had trouble releasing the solution properly, and one of the swabs even broke. They’ll work for minor cuts or scrapes, but don’t expect high quality.

I got these to get my family and I through the flu season. It seemed like everyone around us was getting sick and nonstop and especially for myself. I tend to get sick very often and this year before going to any gathering or before the kids get out of the car to go to school. I swab their noses before and after school inside their nostrils and we were able to whether an entire stomach bug and flu that took out a lot of the school. The only thing that was changed was the fact that we were using these swabs. I will be buying them again if you are going in to a hospital for visiting or are you’ve got kids at school or daycare? I think this should be a part of your routine. I was very skeptical, but they do work.
