Loved that the bulb has not died on us after 2 years. The function is absolutely amazing. The moment dusk hits, the bulb automatically turns on. The color is soft yet bright enough to see outside. Just have to remember to not turn off the actual switch for the light, and it’s just fine.

Because of increased burglaries in the area, my neighbors and myself decided to keep some bright outside LED lights on all night. The problem was we kept forgetting to turn them on or turn them off! I purchased a dusk to sunrise socket that you put the bulb into, but it just didn't work at all! I then purchased a automatic light switch that also turned the lights on and off automatically. But one needed an electrician to install it. Finally I discovered these bright outdoor LED bulbs that turn themselves on at night and if in the morning and they actually work and work brilliantly! Who ever thought the actual bulb would be turning on and off automatically. I can't recommend these bulbs enough. The price is very reasonable, so it is a win win situation. Just remove your old bulb and screw the new one in and you're done!

Love these bulbs, they come on at night and go off in the morning. I used to have to turn the lights on at night and off in the morning, which isn't that big of a deal unless you aren't home. These take care of that problem, if you aren't home before dark, these lights will be. Excellent for if you go away too. The LED gives off a good amount of light. Easy to use, just take out of the package and screw in, that's it! They come as a 2 pack. A little on the expensive side.

I can't say more about these bulbs! They are well worth the money. The light it gives off is bright but not blinding! The motion works 100%. We bought these for when we travel. Lights come on and off for either day/night. It even turns off if my other motion light turns on in my back yard. I won't buy any other bulbs for the exterior light fixtures of my house.

Not all LED light bulbs are designed to be installed in enclosed outdoor fixtures. I learned that the hard way because I have an enclosed fixture that sits 16 feet above my front porch. Changing the bulb involves retrieving a 14-foot ladder from storage, mounting it, and standing precariously with my arms raised above my head while trying not to drop the bulb or the tiny screws that fasten the fixture cover in place. The last LED light bulb I installed should have lasted 6 to 8 years. It only lasted 18 months. It wasn't designed to operate in an enclosed space where heat can build up. This time around, I did my homework. I wanted an LED bulb that had a light sensor and that could handle the heat of the enclosed outdoor fixture. Before installing this bulb, I made sure that I wrote the installation date on the bulb housing with a permanent marker. The clock is ticking. The light is very bright and the dusk-to-dawn feature has worked great. If all goes well, I'll update this review with good news in about 4 years. Addendum: As I was about to post the above review, I found the bulb's previously unread user manual that specifically states, "Do not use in closed fixture." Huh.

These bulbs are generally long lasting, but I have had failures after a year or so. They are dusk to dawn and used outside on a porch and inside a yard light. Therefore, they have been exposed to temperature extremes. I am satisfied with their quality and cost.

Works great, however I've used for a month so far and not sure how long they each last.
