ASICS

I have been using my Asics GT 1000 trainers in the gym now for the last 2 weeks and have found them to be really comfortable and so good for running in. My old trainers gave me hot spots on the sole of one foot but these are just brilliant and want to make you run further in them because they are so soft underfoot to wear. I have been a fan of Asics for about 8 years now and will not buy anything else when it comes to sport trainers and they always support your feet and don't end up smelling awful after a couple of months. I would recommend these to any serious gym trainer and road runner as a perfect medium ranger trainer.

Purchased a pair of these after trying a similiar pair on in a specialist running shop which were much more expensive so this price is great value. Bought them in half a size bigger than my normal size as recommended and they fit a treat. Have been wearing them in my training runs for my first marathon and have to say they are really comfortable and haven't had any problems with blisters or sore feet, so much so that I have purchased another pair to break in for the day. If you need a reasonably priced pair of running shoes that are comfortable then go for these.

Over the recent years I have worn most of the GEL 1000 series (1000/1100/1160) which Asics customer services confirmed the GT 1000 is the successor to that series. The shoes were competitively priced and arrived in about three working days. The characteristics of the shoe is keeping with the GEL 1000, similar in weight, maybe slightly wider, again supportive with excellent cushioning. If you have used the GEL 1000 series in the past I have no hesitation is using this product. One final point, the neon orange is very bright!

Good running shoes that I use on a treadmill. Light and comfortable. Would have got 5 stars if their was slightly more heel support. Otherwise just fine.

I have been a fan of the GT series for more than 10 years. I was introduced to them when I was looking for a cure for ankle pains caused by too many years running in unstable air cushioned shoes. I haven't had any pain since. The GT 1000 feels like the lightest and fastest yet. They would be particularly suitable for serious runners or those that like to train and race in the same shoes.

These Asics shoes are really excellent and came at a great price coupled with prompt delivery. I have worn Asics before so knew what size to get. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a well cushioned shoe that also caters for some pronation.

I was a long-time fan of Nike until I tried Adidas and Asics. I will never buy another pair of Nike anything. Nike's made my feet hurt and my lower back hurt. One week into these GT-1000 9 sneakers and I'm HOOKED! No pains after running and the style is impressive. I love these shoes so much that I bought a second pair AND I purchased two more pairs of the GT-1000 10 piedmont.

These shoes are very comfortable. They have a foam base that cushions your feet as you walk. The material design allows for air flow through shoe when walking, but doesn't let water in. The shoe is durable and light. I've had previous GT-1000 models and this is every bit as good.
