I needed something to store basic hand tools and badge supplies on my desk, and this does the job. I no longer have to walk halfway across the building to grab a thermoeter to check the AC output above someones workspace. I previously had the smaller Kobalt box, but my laptop is about five inches wider than that thing and its drawers had no glides. This Workpro box feels like a much better build than the Kobalt. The two drawers on this unit are plenty big for what I’m using it for, and I don’t plan on using the top compartment. I'm going to add drawer liners and it’s ready to go. Color-wise, it leans more gray than it appears in the photos on my monitor. I assumed it was black but the add clearly states it's grey, I just missed that detail. Still looks good. One tip: If you open the lid, pull the drawers out slightly, then close the lid again, the bottom drawers won’t lock. The lid stays closed, but you can still open and close the drawers.
