My mom used to use the wood ones that are much more refreshing to use. It works better to dig out the earwax compared to the metal ones because it has more grip. This might be tmi (too much information) but o also heard that asians usually have a dry earwax that can be easily dug out. The other earwax removal processes such as using fire and candles etc don’t work as well at times. My nephew who is not Asian has a more wet earwax that makes tools like this a big more difficult to use. But for me personally, being Asian, this works super well. The wood has more grip and is more efficient at taking out the earwax! It came with three so i gave one to my mom and brother who both mentioned that they missed using the wood ones .. as we’ve been stuck with the metals ones for a while. Glad to have been able to find this on amazon.

I do not recommend. The fluffy white could not fit in my ear.

Does what you need it to do. I think the wood is a little softer and not was stiff as I would prefer, but the end is wide and covers a good amount of area at once.
