All metal
I was shocked at the workmanship of this engine. Every piece was made of metal and the detail is mind boggling

Fun to Build, But Didn’t Work in the End
I was really excited to get the Aetheria SEMTO Engine ST-NF2 DIY Kit — the idea of building a fully functional little metal engine was awesome, and I had a lot of fun putting it together. The parts look high quality, and the overall design is pretty cool once it’s assembled. Building it was the best part. It felt like a real hands-on STEM project, and I enjoyed figuring out how all the pieces fit and moved together. The instructions weren’t perfect, but it was manageable with some patience. Unfortunately, the engine never actually worked. After finishing the build, I tried starting it several times with no luck. The flywheel moved slightly, but it never fired or ran. I double-checked everything — wiring, alignment, lubrication — but nothing helped. It was disappointing, especially after spending a good amount of time putting it all together. I still give it two stars because it’s a fun project and looks cool as a display piece. But if you’re buying it expecting a working model, just know that mine didn’t run — and I’m not the only one who had that issue.

So cool
Got this for my husband’s birthday, he put it together immediately of course. He absolutely loves it. He bragged on how detailed every single piece was, compared it to the quality a big auto brand that starts with a T would possibly provide. He plans to use it for one of his RCs. Can’t wait!

Bad instructions
Packaged well, however the instructions are incomplete and vague. I built once and it didn’t work, i will try again and see if I can fill the holes on the instructions.
