As advertised
Received the VCR packed very securely in a big box. Packing was sufficient to protect it if it had been dropped from an airplane! The remote came in several days later. So far it is working as well as it did when it was new.

One of the worst purchases of my life.
What I didn't like about this product is that there was no remote as advertised. Also when I tried to test the JVC the picture did not play correctly as if the VHS player was not tracking well.

The picture shown with this item is misleading.
I was lead to believe I was purchasing a dvd/vcr/tv combination just because there was a tv pictured with the vcr/dvd player and that is what I was in the market to purchase. The seller objected to my dissatisfaction blaming the mistake on me not reading the description thoroughly. He did not want to pay the return shipping on the item. But Amazon protected me. I still say a tv should not be included with any vcr/dvd player unless it comes with it. In conclusion, I did find a dvd/vcr/tv combination on eBay and I am quite happy with my purchase. I cannot give any additional ratings on this item, since I did not use it.

Quality Better Than Expected
I was very surprised at how nice a rebuilt or used recorder/player could be. It was as if I had ordered a new one. And I was so happy to have our destroyed one (smoke damage) replaced.
