I train on my own in the garage and these are game changing for my dumbbell presses.

I was initially curious about the low price, but unfortunately, the first impression wasn’t great. The product arrived loosely wrapped in a bag, and the build quality immediately felt cheap. Once I started using them, the hooks would frequently shift or nearly come off the barbell while re-racking, contrary to the "anti-slip" claim in the listing. This raises serious safety concerns, especially if you're using them to hold dumbbells above your head. Personally, I wouldn't trust these for any overhead movements. I’d rather pay more for a higher-quality, more secure one than risk injury.

I really like these dumbbell hooks they are so much better for me when doing dumbbell press work, I am now using more weight than ive ever done before. I have always struggled getting dumbbells up in to position ready for seated pressing weather it's for shoulder or chest. They are cheap and really easy to set up and use. Highly recommended...

Ces crochets m'ont permis de récupérer très rapidement d'un problème d'épaule, la mise en place d'haltères en position haute était douloureuse, grâce aux crochets je pouvais exécuter le mouvement vertical de façon sûr et c'est aussi une façon de changer cette routine qui peut s'installer. *Vaut vraiment le coup avec des gros poids

Ich habe mir die Dumbbell Spotter Haken für mein Hanteltraining geholt. Mein erstes Fazit: Sie tun zwar im Großen und Ganzen, was sie sollen, aber die Verarbeitung ist definitiv noch ausbaufähig. Das größte Problem im Trainingsalltag ist die Nylon-Schnur unten am Haken. Die verrutscht leider ständig, sobald man die Hanteln in Position bringt oder ablegt. Das nervt auf Dauer ziemlich, weil man im Training den Fokus eigentlich auf die Übung legen will und nicht permanent die Schnur korrigieren möchte. Hier hätte der Hersteller definitiv ein rutschfestes Material oder eine bessere Fixierung wählen müssen. Das Gute: Die Haken an sich halten das Gewicht und erfüllen ihre Grundfunktion. Das Schlechte: Die Nylon-Schnur verrutscht ständig und trübt den Komfort sowie das Sicherheitsgefühl. Fazit: Für mich ein Produkt mit gutem Ansatz, das aber noch Luft nach oben hat. Wer mit dem ständigen Verrutschen der Schnur leben kann oder selbst mit etwas Tape nachhilft, bekommt ein funktionierendes Tool. Insgesamt für mich aber nur durchschnittliche 3 Sterne.
