The sheath is no good, but the blade itself is amazing. It's SO well designed. The grip is just fantastic, and the loop is properly made for keeping your index finger in a removable position unlike many karambits. Only complaint is the sheath, but you can't expect a perfect knife and sheath at this price point, so I'm not taking any points away. It works as a way to store it, and that's good enough. For carrying, I would not trust the sheath because it falls off very easily, and part of the sheath even exposes the blade which from certain carry positions could slice yourself if not very careful! Also it's not adjustable at all so there are only a couple viable options for carry and none of them are ideal for a blade of this size. Again though, the karambit itself... extremely good buy. Double blade is almost always more than this. More expensive karambits are often not this well designed. I am also a fan of the size and the aggressive curve. All around great.

When I opened the box this was in with some other item, I was in awe of its size, quality and design. I found the sheath a little tight but I shaved of the two pins so the blade is easily removed. Also just because the handle is small it is easy to customize with some black gorilla tape. Same with the sheath. I ccant believe how many reviewers whined about how sharp it was or sheath is a bad design, when all it takes is a little duct tape and trim the locking pins. I used masking tape and a black sharpie will pick up gorilla tape at work (Home Depot) tomorrow. Come on people why would you throw this in a box... whiners.

One of my favorite karambits I’ve purchased. I have smaller hands so the grip is perfect for me, but I can see how it would be a problem for people with large hands. The curvature of this blade is excellent and allows hooking and digging in better than other karambits. Very sharp out of the box. Sharp enough to shave with. Yes the sheathe isn’t the best but it’s not quite as bad as people say. It has a simple safety locking feature which makes the karambit impractical to use in self defense but it could easily be filed down to remove it and allow for easy draw of the karambit. Now if you like a safety feature this is a very simple one that works effective enough to keep the karambit secured when not in use, but because of it there’s really only one position you can draw it in which is left or rip hip in a hammer grip. Any other position would require both hands to draw it with the safety feature. The finger ring is ridiculously large but it doesn’t bother me since the grip works fine for my hand size. Double edged blade is very nice, little more dangerous to the user but allows for larger variety of moves and uses. Good quality steel. Overall I’d recommend if your hands aren’t that big. I might be buying another.

All these complaints about this karambit being "dangerous" are invalid. First of all, if you hurt yourself while handling this knife, that is your fault. Complacency kills. Second, if you're blaming the sheath for being dangerous, you are wrong. You knew that you have a double sided karambit. It is your responsibility to handle the knife accordingly. Third, if you wanted a "safe" knife, you should have bought a plastic type or shouldn't be playing with knives at all. This karambit is on the larger side, so it isnt an everyday carry type of knife but you could carry it daily if you really wanted to. It is coated with oil out of the box to prevent rust. Just wipe it with a towel, no big deal. The handle is a little bit short, so if your hands are on the larger side, you risk cutting your self. This karambit seems to be well made and is sharp out of the box. Great knife for it's price.

I got this knife a couple days ago because I love curved blades and this is by far the best hooked knife I have ever got but there is a catch with this one this sheath is complete garbage that's the only problem in my opinion it seems like Schrade put so much time and effort into making the blade and put no effort all into making the sheath also another negative thing about this knife is it is very dangerous the way it is double-bladed and I've cut myself multiple times just handling it so it is indeed as dangerous to the user as it could be dangerous to and a potential assailant but I love this blade the other day I lost the first one I ordered and I like this so much I ordered one the same day I lost the first one I just got the second one today this is by far in my opinion the greatest Karambit there is on Amazon

Very wicked looking heavy knife. Came with a decent factory edge. Knife is confortable in my hand, great design. I gave this 3 stars because the sheath is absolutely garbage. No way to clip it to a belt, and there are these weird little retention bumps that make it impossible to safely draw the knife one handed. The blade has two edges, so holding anywhere on the sheath with your other hand puts that hand in peril. Improve the sheath dwsign and I'd give this four stars.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. At all. Stop playing with knives if you have soft hands. The holster IS in fact a bit extra but I plan on finding or fabricating a suitable leather replacement. The blades handle width is optimal, assuming you know how to hold a karambit. It’s a very pretty blade. Sharp right out of the packaging but I made it a little sharper. I’m now terrified of accidentally dropping this knife. It will kill anything it lands on. It’s light weight enough to carry comfortably but has enough heft that it feels good in the hand. The “balance” of a curved blade is hard to describe accurately but consider that the cut of this full sized piece makes it easy to transition between grips. I own almost the entire delta line now and have loved every one of them thus far. Honestly they could have charged more for this one. The $50 price tag was VERY modest. Two more to tack off my list and I’ll have a full house.

Das Messer ist etwas größer als erwartet. Die Klingen sind sehr scharf. Achtung, dieses Messer ist kein Spielzeug und darf in Deutschland nicht öffentlich geführt werden. Die Klinge ist beidseitig Scharf. Die Verarbeitung sehr gut.

Conosco questa marca e devo dire che sotto l'aspetto del filo e dell'acciaio non delude assolutamente. Certo teniamo conto del prezzo,ci sono sicuramente versioni di maggior qualità ma questo non è male. Veniamo alle pecche: fodero rigido di difficile apertura per estrarre la lama il che se non si sta attenti ci si può tagliare e la.lama che sfrega sulla plastica dura non è certo una cosa positiva per il filo.. L'impugnatura la trovo abbastanza piccola,avrei preferito un manico un po' più 'lungo' per una presa più comoda. Nel complesso comunque un bell'oggetto, penso che per la qualità ed il prezzo valga la pena averlo in collezione. Nota finale: la lama è affilata SU ENTRAMBI I LATI, una cosa abbastanza rara e apprezzabile.

Secondo me è uno dei migliori Karambit in circolazione, doppio filo, lama molto grande, anello che non graffia il dito, Schrade ha realizzato un ottimo prodotto. Ottimo fodero, bello resistente. Un karambit da avere assolutamente, poi a questo prezzo è davvero un grandissimo affare!!! Soddisfatto e lo consiglio a chi ama questa tipologia di lame.

Die Klingel geht nicht mehr wie früher. Bist du nach Hinten durch? Sondern hat ungefähr Anna Tab bis 2 cm. Ungefähr. 0 4. Und zu zwei Daumen glieder hinten die. Vorher ging die Schneider komplett besinnen durch. Anscheinend haben sich zu viele Leute geschnitten wegen zu blöd. Wer sind die Leute die solche Messer nehmen und damit Pizza schneiden. Weil? Es sind 2 Seiten, die Geschärft sind. Klare Empfehlung

Il coltello è bello, ben fatto e di aspetto robusto. Facile da impugnare e maneggiare, ovviame con le dovute cautele data la forma, non è un giocattolo da consigliare a chi non ha esperienza nel maneggio delle lame. Unico difetto, che abbassa il voto a 4/5 è il fodero in plastica rigida. Il sistema di blocco del coltello nel fodero è scomodo da aprire e durante l'estrazione c'è un concreto rischio di tagliarsi, inoltre il materiale del fodero non aiuta a preservare l'affilatura della lama quando essa viene sguainata e rinfoderata.
