Nice Thunderbolt 5 hub
Nice looking hub. Works well with my 2023 16 inch Mac Book Pro M3 Max. It is easily maintaining a full charge. I have not attempted to used it for video, but it works perfectly for all my other peripherals, which includes 2 webcams, a USB microphone, a drawing table, a wired keyboard and a wired trackball mouse.

Good TB5/USB4.2 hub from great company. Windows function not as versatile as Mac due to PC design
This USB4.2/TB5/4/3 hub works well and supports all protocols from USB 4.2/Thunderbolt 5 back to USB 2/1.1 — I tested all of this. Note that you will need different cables and/or adapters to support Thunderbolt 2/1 and USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 on a Mac. Windows PC compatibility beyond TB5/4 and USB 4.2 is not promised nor can I test it. Anyway, this lets you add two USB 4.2 ports over USB-C (one pair of ports contains the uplink and replaces that port on your computer) plus a USB-A port for USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 only. Has enough bus power to charge nearly anything quickly. Why give it only 4 stars? It's design is nearly the same as the TB4 hub it replaces but some of the ports are in different locations on the unit. The old version had a logo that lit up different colors to let you know if your uplink is working and you are correctly connected—this one has an LED under the unit to let you know the status of your connection and that is not as good. Build quality is up to OWC's high standard. For the price, I hoped for more ports and an LED on the top. It's also nearly twice as large as the old version, no doubt to accommodate the larger charging capacity and new internal fan. Overall value is hard to say. USB 4.2/TB5 is twice as fast as the older TB4/USB 4 version. Good company and has a 2 year warranty. If your Mac/PC does not have TB5, this will not add it but if it does, you want one of these.

Does not work at all on my 2025 Mac Studio.
Does not work at all on my 2025 Mac Studio. Tried 2 of them; Different ports on the Mac; multiple TB 5 cables.Chatted with OWC and Apple. No solution.Too bad, the design and price were good

Nice dock but some eject issues
5-2-25 update. I purchased another dock and got the same issue of a TB5 drive ejecting occasionally. I then tested another TB5 drive in an enclosure and the results were similar but less ejects. so appears some impact between drives and hubs and OS. I concluded it is not the fault of the hub or drive alone but a combination of the Apple OS (Sequoia 15.4.1) and TB5 hardware through a hub. Perhaps the TB5 system has not yet been finished in design to understand all the interplay between components. I will add another star back to a 4 star rating on this hub.4-27-25; After using for some time I find that my TB5 drives will still get ejected when connected to this hub. After ejection they reconnect and work without issue until I remove and once again connect to see they eject . My TB5 drives do not eject if connected directly to my Mac Mini. I also found that any of my TB4 drives do stay connected through the hub so it looks like the TB5 drives draw too much current for this hub. I'm dropping my rating down to 3 stars.Original rating:Got this for my Mac Mini m4 pro to add some additional ports. At first any drive I attached got ejected but after a Reboot all is solid. I found that my TB4 drive shows the same speed as when connected directly to my Mac however my TB5 drive is about 20-25% slower on the write speeds which is common in docks. Dock seems high quality overall in design and features.

flickering display on secondary monitor
I was using this with a macmini m4 pro and I had a secondary monitor plugged into the dock. the monitor display would flicker and go black for a good 5-8 seconds... it got pretty annoying bec it would affect my work flow and some of my software would be sensitive to this by quitting due to resolution changes from the flickering...
