I used this for sublimating in a dark tshirt. It worked great. Just make sure you cut it to for the image you want to put over it lol.

Update: June 2nd 2026. I have washed my shirt with the HTV sublimation vinyl with image 5 times now and the image and vinyl are both perfect, still vi rant colours. I followed the directions on the package, the backing stuck to the smaller parts of the design so I added an extra 5 seconds, I let it cool a little before peeling off the backing, it says to remove it right away but let it cool a little and peel off slowly at first for the edges peel towards the smaller parts of the design and if some of the htv pulls off of the tshirt, press and hold it onto the tshirt, it will lay flat. I applied the sublimated image onto the HTV and used the same settings as on the package, let the image cool a little before peeling off the paper, I had no issues with the paper peeling, if it makes any difference I used the A-Sub sublimation paper. The colours are fabulous. Only issue was with the printing process which if you have a Cricut (I have the Maker) this will apply. This is the first time I have done an image with this process using HTV sublimation vinyl... so in order to get the exact shape as the HTV vinyl you will want to turn off the mirroring on your sublimation printer and use the mirror setting on your cricut machine, otherwise your registration marks will be in the wrong place and the cricut machine will not cut the image. This was my own issue which was a user issue, you live ans learn and I just wanted to pass this along to anyone else doing this for the first time. I have not washed the tshirt yet and I will wait 48 hours before doing so. I will try and update if this allows me too. If it washes well and the image and HTV is in great shape I will hope to give the full 5 stars.

Cuts smoothly, weeds great! When putting the sublimated image on was easy and pressing according to the instructions ensured the image transferred beautifully. The image is crisp and bright. The cost is a great value and look forward to ordering again.
