Decent unmanaged switch, never had any connection drops or issues since I bought it. It's quiet and easy to mount, I used command strips to mount it to the underside of my desk. When connected to a 2.5gb NIC, files transfer much quicker and also allow me to take advantage of my 2gbs fibre connection. Overall a decent switch, good value and built well, should last a long while.

£48 reduced from £60 at time of review I’m in the process of upgrading my home network with Cat 7 cables and 2.5Gbps adapters on my computers and NAS so needed to swap out my old 1G switch, wow what a difference! Most of the time I’m just connecting to the internet (which is a 1Gig connection via Three, which I can’t recommend enough!). Anyway this thing is brilliant, no bottle necks, full 1G to the internet and a noticeable difference connecting to my NAS, everything just worked seamlessly and so fast. Streaming my Plex & Jellyfin at full res has been no problem, and backing up my computers and working off the NAS has been a dream come true, super happy with this switch, highly recommend! Works great and has allowed full use of 2gbps broadband to be piped around the house, just plug and play. Good value when compared to alternatives and have no problem recommending it.

Small, Lightweight, Easy Plug and Play. Have only utilised 4 Ports so far so haven’t fully tested if there is a drop in speed with more devices connected but I doubt there would be. Stuck it on the wall with Command Strips. Wish it had a white cable and plug instead of black as the rest of my network kit including the switch is white in colour. Also a bit annoying that the cable comes out the top of the plug and not the bottom as I didn’t have much space as it’s plugged into a socket near the ceiling.

The switch is lightweight but well made. Used double sided tapes to fix it up on the wall. Works absolutely fine and get full 2.5Gb speed across the home over Cat5e wiring. Can't fault at all at this price!

Fast when it works but keeps dropping the connection. Lots of "Link is down" followed a few seconds later by "Link is up". Spend more and get a better 2.5Gb switch.

Ich habe den 8-Port-2,5-Gigabit-Switch gekauft, um mein Heimnetzwerk etwas zukunftssicherer und schneller aufzustellen. Angeschlossen sind bei mir unter anderem ein NAS mit 2,5-Gbit-Anschluss, eine FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber sowie ein AVM FRITZ!Repeater 2700 per LAN-Brücke. Die Lieferung erfolgte wie von Amazon gewohnt schnell und sauber verpackt. Auspacken, Netzteil anschließen, LAN-Kabel rein – und alles lief sofort ohne irgendeine Einrichtung. Genau so muss Plug & Play funktionieren. Die Verarbeitung macht für den Preis einen wirklich sehr guten Eindruck. Das Gehäuse fühlt sich wertig an, die Bauform ist angenehm kompakt und das Netzteil ist ebenfalls schön klein. Die LAN-Kabel rasten sauber und fest ein, nichts wirkt locker oder billig. Auf der Oberseite befinden sich kleine grüne Status-LEDs, die den Betrieb und die Datenübertragung durch Blinken anzeigen. Alle angeschlossenen Geräte funktionieren problemlos und die Geschwindigkeit scheint ebenfalls absolut zu passen. Gerade im Zusammenspiel mit NAS, Glasfaser-FRITZ!Box und 2,5-Gbit-fähigem Repeater macht der Switch genau das, was er soll. Für den Preis müssen sich hier auch größere Markenhersteller warm anziehen. Positiv ist außerdem, dass laut Aufkleber auf der Verpackung eine lebenslange Garantie auf das Gerät gegeben wird. Das rundet den sehr guten Gesamteindruck noch einmal ab. Ich bin vollends zufrieden und würde den Switch anstandslos weiterempfehlen. Für mich ganz klar 5 von 5 Sternen.

Les 8 ports 2.5G Base-T permettent de connecter plusieurs appareils à haute vitesse, ce qui est parfait pour le streaming, le gaming ou le transfert de fichiers lourds. Le switch est non-managé, donc pas de configuration compliquée : vraiment plug-and-play. Il reste silencieux et ne chauffe pas, même lorsqu’il est utilisé intensivement. Pour un usage classique comme le mien, c’est un produit très fiable et pratique.

I set this up in my garage, where all my wired connections terminate into the comms box. It gets really hot in there during summer, so I was a bit concerned about how the switch would handle the heat — but it's been rock solid with zero issues so far. Setup was genuinely plug-and-play. No configuration needed — I just hooked up my devices and it was up and running instantly. The 2.5G ports are great for future-proofing — I’m only on a 1Gbps internet connection at the moment, but the extra bandwidth is already coming in handy for local streaming and large file transfers across my home network. Build quality is solid, it runs quietly (no fan noise), and the form factor makes it easy to mount or tuck away neatly. For the price I paid, it’s fantastic value — especially considering it supports 2.5G across all eight ports. If you're looking to upgrade your home network without going overboard, this is a great middle ground. Happy with the performance, and no regrets.
