So I have switched back and forth between this and the boudreaux butt paste. After having my son, who has had many episodes of diarrhea. MANY lasting for 1 to 2 weeks. Constantly changing his diaper, and blow outs... He gets a horrible rash!!! I have found the desitin texture, actually stays on the skin better than any other formula.... You know that annoying sticky waxy feeling you get when the desitin gets on your clothes or skin?!! And it takes forever to wash it off?? Well yeah, that texture is what makes desitin soooo good. Between all my sons diarrhea episodes, a few an hour, the desitin has such a good barrier between his skin, and the diarrhea it helps protect the skin, so no moisture gets to it!!! PLUS it does what its supposed to do-HEAL the rash. I recently finished my tube of desitin, and had to go back to the butt paste, and the butt paste texture was sooo mild as soon as I tightened up his diaper the butt paste was wiped off. Never again, will I use anything but Desitin!! TIP: When buying desitin, just do yourself the favor and ALWAYS buy the max strength. What's the point of the regular stuff? Always keep it on hand, you never know what could happen. I used to pride myself on my first child never having a diaper rash... But my second child, has a problem with chronic diarrhea. That give him rashes.

This is one of my most favorite purchase, ever! My baby had horrible diaper rash and this was the only thing that helped within 24 hours! This is our go-to as soon as we see any redness on her bum. I also LOVE the travel size because we can keep them all over the house as well as in every bag (i.e. diaper bag, purse, travel bags, etc.). I will be keeping these on hand until the diaper days are behind us!

This was a great deal to have 1 in different places instead of taking 1 everywhere.

I ordered this product for my infant to prevent diaper rash. I apply this product at almost every diaper change to avoid diaper rash. Our infant is 3 weeks old and this product has worked great for her! So far she’s only had some small areas of diaper rash and this cream has helped clear up those areas within a day or so. This cream is very thick and acts as a layer barrier between the skin and moisture in the diaper. I find that it’s easily washed off and isn’t greasy. The smell is awful. It has a very strong, fishy smell. Besides the smell, this product works great for diaper rash and I highly recommend!

It definitely protects tender skin from wetness. I have been using it with older adults.

I bought this product based on the few good reviews. I must say all the good reviews are true. I am posting this review after using the cream for 5 days. I must say this is the amazing product for the diaper rashes. I can see the rashes are healing, and my baby is feeling comfortable. I agreed that the product is a bit expensive, but trust me, parents, you won't regret buying it, especially when your baby will be free and comfortable from the rashes. It's a very thick paste, so it's required in minimum quantity, and it stays longer on the skin and heals the rashes. If any Indian parents are reading, it's like a thick 'Chuna.'. It stays on skin for a longer time and heals the rashes. It doesn't wipe out by the diaper or clothes. I use the wet wipes to remove it. I don't want to give any negative feedback to Himalayas diaper cream; maybe that cream works for other babies skin, but it doesn't show any healing on my baby's skin. Post using the Himalayas cream for more than 10 days, I end up buying the DISTIN cream, and I am glad that I bought the cream. THIS IS A MUST-BUY CREAM.

Best product for baby rash.

Very effective ointment. You can see results in single use only. My baby's severe rashes reduced in 4-5 hours of single application only. The only downside is that the ointment is very strong and rough on baby's soft skin. After few application I noticed baby's skin on the applied area has become little rough. So I use mild nappy cream on regular basis and when the rash is severe, I apply Desitin a couple of times.
