Fantastic for wine making!
Used it to make plum wine. The lid seals TIGHT and can be a little tough to open, but that’s what you want to keep all the precious alcohol inside!Made about 4/12 gallons of wine with 8lbs of fruit in a brew bag inside of the bucket.Bucket is very sturdy and was able to be picked up and put ontop/ off of the fridge with no issues.

Great bucket
Great quality, perfect fit for my needs, zero leaks, it was easy to install the heating element for my boil bucket.

Works perfect
Works perfect. At first I thought the grommet was missing and I found it taped to the bottom of the lid.

Works as intended, one time use lid
The bucket, is a bucket. It is thick walled and has a very tight seal on the lid. I have no concerns about anything getting in my batch. The rubber gasket for the airlock is very tight as well, but the airlock does just barely squeeze in. It is also very helpful to have a specific gravity chart directly on the bucket, I used a dry erase marker to mark the original instead of writing it down and loosing the paper. My only complaint is the lid. It is one of the tear off lids, and therefor one time use. I like to check my brew periodically for a specific gravity test and a taste test, but that is off limits with this bucket (unless you plan to rack into smaller batches after the first couple weeks). I would be willing to pay more for a screw on lid that I can continue to use in the future.

Taller than regular five gallon buckets, but same diameter.
Good quality bucket. I use it for a camping potty because it is taller than regular five gallon buckets, and the top fits those toilet seat pop-on covers.

Great size bucket! Lid stays VERY FIRMLY IN PLACE.
Lids are VERY VERY VERY difficult to remove after they're on. But, no leaking or worrying about spills while moving when full. So you win some/lose some.I brew 5lbs of coffee in 5gallons of water in these and they are absolutely the perfect size!Very sturdy and worth the extra few dollar compared to the 5gallon buckets for portioning out my 5gal water/5lb coffee that won't fit in a standard bucket.Lid comes with a rubber lined hole.
