This is a great solid product! Just don’t forget to drain the water before winter sets in.

I prefer to use water so that I can drain it if I need to. Very sturdy and I live in a breezy area. I chucked the useless metal stand the umbrella was originally paired with, and now I have reliable shade in my backyard to enjoy my peaceful garden.

Base seemed nice coming out of the box. Good size, though double check it will work for your needs as my mistake it was just a bit too big. Filled with water, it is a decent base to utilize with an umbrella I feel.Not sure if others' bases had this, too, but mine has some kind of object rolling around the side. No way to get it out. Not sure if when the hole is drilled into the top, it's from that? Also, when filling with water, there were unpleasant fumes coming out. Water mixing with the rubber material on the inside?All that said, for the price, this is a good option to consider for an umbrella base.

Very nice a little assembling but it's easy

I rate this umbrella holder as 3-stars because the price is high for molded plastic, though the cost is in line with similar products. I like the fact that there are two screws to hold the pole rather than just one. When new, the bottom of this umbrella holder is not completely flat so it rocks back and forth a bit; I’m hoping this will flatten out after it sits in the hot sun with weight in it.

The media could not be loaded. Water based makes it easier for me to move this. If it was sand, it would be difficult. I am able to fill with water and dump out when I need to move it. Quality product. The umbrella fits perfectly right into the stand
