ZWILLING FOUR STAR Filleting Knife, 18cm

This is a sharp and flexible knife. It may be for filleting but its great for tomatoes and other soft items. I am looking to buy others in the range.

This is a specific knife that I needed. Nice price as was on offer but not too many of my catering site supply this brand so overall happy

I bought this knife for my other half since we already have Henkels knives and he's recently started filleting his own fish. This makes filleting very easy and as always with Henkels, you can feel the quality in your hand

Up to usual Henckel's excellent standard and flexible enough to fillet fish really well.

Works well - a good shape, robust and easy to sharpen.

Hi I have had a set of 9 four star zwilling knives which i bought in 1989 in germany whilst living there! I am a keen cook and have used pretty much most of these knives regularly every week since and they keep a superb edge (if looked after!). My only concession is i now use a fine diamond grit knife steel sharpener. I have only had to replace the filleting knife as i also dropped mine on a kitchen tiled floor just under 2 years ago and it also fractured. I did not realise they had a life time guarantee but i do not begrudge buying a replacement, it was of the same quality and after nearly 20 years of use i have had no grumbles with the original one. in my humble opinion, would recommend these knives to any foodie or aspiring chef for their quality, value for money and how they retain their edge! i think 20 years is a fair length of time to get a fair impression of these knives !. I've given this Four Star knife five stars, there is not much to say about it really, it's a knife but we have used these Henckels knives for many years now and have found them to be excellent. They are dishwasher proof, the one-piece handles don't fragment or chip and food particles can't get into any crevices. The knives are well-weighted and comfortable to hold. The blades stay keen and as long as you look after them the knives should give you years of service. In fact, just recently we had the misfortune to drop a 15 year old Henckels four star bread knife on our tiled kitchen floor, the blade actually snapped. I contacted Henckels Zwilling and they asked me to return it, after examining it they replaced it with a new one free of charge. The knives have a life-time guarantee and it was good to see they are true to their word. I had looked around for a while to find a good price for the filleting knife, I tried several on-line suppliers as well as a couple of London shops specialising in Chef's knives but none could match the price I found the knife for from Cheaper_Than_Outlet on Amazon, the postage was a little expensive but the total was still nearly half the price of most places, a great price for a great product.
