Even though there were tremendous shipping problems and the machine was damaged the plus's outweigh the disadvantages. I had no idea it was a duplex machine which is very good and it came with four fairly full toner cartridges which was also a disadvantage as well because a bunch of cyan, magenta, yellow and black powder were displayed in technicolor on the transports, paper trays, etc. I did have one other surprise...the communication cable, a mini centronics. I have been in the digital printing business since 1995 and this is my first encounter with said cable. I initially was going to run this using Windows xp software, but had limited control with the post script driver, so I was able to locate a windows 7 driver which appears to work very well. I would do this again and highly recommend anyone looking to buy, go for it. Review: Hp Printer - The print quality is fair. Using the serial to USB connection cable to PC did not work. It was not recognized by the PC. Only serial to serial connection worked. I requested a parts name and number from Orion Printers for the installation of a network card. The card that they said I needed to buy turned out to be the wrong card for the printer as it didn't allow network connection. I continued to use serial but a while after the printer started printing black and white.
