The old pneumatic tires would not hold air and the rims were severely rusted. These wheels are well made, fit perfectly on a 5/8" axle and roll smoothly. I liked them so well that I ordered four more for my 12 year old dump cart that was on its second or third set of failing pneumatic tires. Again the new tires are made well, fit perfectly and roll smoothly. The tires came with several washers and cotter pins, but the washers are very thin. I used thicker 5/8" washers that I had on hand, but the supplied washers would have probably worked just fine. I would recommend these flat-free wheels as a great, cost effective replacement for old, failed pneumatic tires and rims. Review: Used these on a pull behind aerator that previously had inflatable tires. These were a great replacement. Having solid tires that I won’t have to worry about inflating or going flat is a game changer.
